it's a good start. nice change to thalex's stance. it was a small change but it did worlds for him. probabyl easier to edit too.

No. This will be his stance but his size will be bigger. He will be as big as Zangief or maybe Hugo Frtom SF3. I haven't decided yet.

you need another frame between "open fists" and "closed fists". maybe have him curl his arms a bit too.

his legs aren't gonan move during the stance?

I'm still working on him as of right now. This is the first time I've ever done a mugen character so I take all the help I can get. Thank for advice.

Okay I edited him a little bit more since the last time. I added movement to his chest and to his legs. I'm having trouble adding a frame in between his opening and closing of his hands. Let e know what you think.

yes I know but i'm not the greatest animator and thats where I'm having the problem. I'm still trying though. I wante to ask also while he is being animated His body shifts up and down do you know how to fix this?

you jsut have to align the sprites better when you make the gif.

I'd help you with the fingers but I'm not too good with it either. maybe tomorrow I'll take a crack at it when I have time. no promises though.

With what  do I align the sprites is it with fighter factory? Or Gimp? Gimp is the only program I can use.

I was able to add 2 more frames to his hands. Once again I'm not the best animator so bare with me I'm still learning. I really like that spawn's stance. And I think his eyes are just awsome.

 (can someone tell me how to center his body one or 2 frames move off center t times.

Thanx for the compliments on  Medieval Spawn .

To your question ....

When you make the Gif to post make sure that the feet are in the same exact spot since they are not moving at all . That way you won't get that effect like he's " floating " up & down anymore .

Are you making the gif in Fighter Factory or some other program ? If it's fighter factory you have to line your sprites up before creating the gif .

I all reality you can never have too many frames of animation , The more you make , the more fluent & smooth the character moves . So use your disgression when you think he looks good .


I don't really know too much about Gimp , I don't use it .

But in fighter factory when your sprites are open you will see some blue arrows in the panel on the left . that's how you move the sprites around & line them up .

thanks alot. If you don't mind me asking what programs do you use. I trying to find something new and easier to use.

I use photoshop for the most part for spriting . Once a a great while  I will use Microsoft Paint to sprite .

For the animated Gifs  I use adobe Image ready or Fighter Factory .

Obviously Fighter Factory is a major program used in the actual creation of the character .

I just noticed the venom pumping through the tube going to his head . That little added touch is awesome  :thumbsup:
That little extra animation is really right up there with the way I did Spawn's eyes . Just added little things to make people say " WoW "

Keep up the creativity on Bane , I like where this is going .
