It is, Photobucket just decides to convert BMPs into JPEGs unfortunately, but won't do anything to PNGs. :-??

I had such a good time spriting CWU-01P from scratch, I decided to try someone else who needed lots of scratch work. My favorite MM9 boss, Galaxy Man.

This time though I really tried getting the MvC style down some more.


Grenade Man

Everything is limited to three shades (except for the black outline). The added detail came from some game art of him that didn't show up in the game itself.

C&C appreciated on Grenade Man, because I wanna get better at the MvC Mega Man shading.

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

You can always ask him. I've already spoken to him, to send him Vava's voices which he used in the last update. Just use a translator and e-mail him.

C&C appreciated on Grenade Man, because I wanna get better at the MvC Mega Man shading.
I don't really like the design of the weird MM8 bosses personally, but those are nice sprites, especially Astro Man! As far as Grenade Man's MvC look, I think the shading is a little off still. Look at the legs for example. MvC Megaman's legs are almost all 1 shade of blue with the shadows starting close to the edges of his leg. Your Grenade Man has the shadow starting from right around the middle of the leg, making him look more 3D than the average MvC character.

He's just not Geminiman without that line. I might play with it a little more, though, to try and make it look more square.

Remodeled my Geminiman sprite. Head design is based on Megaman Soccer, and went with a different style for the reflections.



I think I'm gonna try some animations for this, and see where it leads  ;)
