I told you guys Christian Bale was going to be in the next movie, I'm amazed on how far they've gotten already. I know they started filming a few months ago....

What did he mean by "This is not the future my mother warned me about" though? Did they create a rift in time which caused the war to be altered somehow? I guess we'll have to wait and see when the movie comes out.

As a Terminator fanboy, you know I'm going to see this in the theaters.

Edit: Also I think they're doing a great job with the tv series and I can't wait to see season 2.

I've only seen the first episode of the show, but I've seen the other movies... like... thousands of times... 

I think that the "This is not the future my mother warned me about" statement means that the Terminator, Arnold S., and the bad Terminators, have created sort of an alternate universe, because of their actions. If not that... then the statement could've just meant that he never would've pictured the world being like that, and was just stunned by the result of the bombs' damage that went off at the end of T3. You got to remember that he was in that one secure building, while they went off and exploded... so... he had basically no idea, other than the Terminator warning him about it.

John Connor knew about the missile strike though at the end of the film, and he knew that billions or even trillions of people were going to die. So I think he was ready for that. I think somehow the war has changed. John was raised his entire life to be the leader of his resistance, and I doubt after about 20-25 years of his life, he would suddenly get cold feet. Whether it was John and Sarah who changed the future, or TX (she did kill some of the resistance before she met John and Kate) is still a mystery.
