the only problem is the campyness like the show with adam west, costumes with nipples, bad acting from mr.Schwarzenegger that the film wuz also nominated for a razzie award http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118688/awards, also the horrible ice lines from mr. freeze, and least of not dark theme batman that's why make this a bad batman film and i also agree with captain obvious.

once i find a vhs copy of that movie i'm gonna destroy it

So.. just because the movie doesn't have a dark theme it's not good?? That's completely bogus. You can't just base a Batman movie on whether it's good or bad, because it doesn't have a dark theme...

Batman forever was just bad because it didn't really follow up to the last movie at all.

Like what the hell happened to catwoman after the end of Batman Returns, and Jim Carey doesn't make a good Riddler, I think Carey would do better as a Joker instead.

After the first two films, they were relying heavily on star power to make their movies successful. These movies were obviously aimed at people who like these actor's films, but not the previous batman films.

I don't know, I liked Mr. Freeze. I thought he was the only good thing in the movie. Mr. Freeze's cheeziness was funny. It is Arnold, the guy always has cheezy lines

. From Batman Forever on, it wasn't directed by Tim Burton anymore and Forever in some small ways was a reboot in the middle of the series

. I have grown up with a dark Batman, being 25 and all. I remember Tim Burton's Batman being awesome. The thing is campy Batman was only in the 60s, as the majority of fans 35 years and younger never really grew up with campy Batman outside of reruns, but a dark Batman. I mean I liked the TV series and I don't mind alittle campiness IF it is done right and in small bits, it can work. Overall in Batman's career, he has been dark. That is technically as Capt. Obvious put it "he should be". Batman is a dark character.

Batman isnt light hearted, and hasnt been since Denny Oneil started writing the character in the late 60's, hence the alias (Dark Knight). Besides that the acting was terrible, the costuming worse, and its the lowest grossing Bat-film. The vast majority of Bat-Fans despise this film, and craved a version of Batman more realistic to the Comics. For the last 2 films Warner brought in David Goyer writer of DC's Iconic series JSA to write the last 2 films. The style in the Clooney film is a Hollywood depiction of the character that simply isnt accurate, and hasnt been since the 50's.

Uhg thats a horrible Batgirl costume, and Alicia was cute in Clueless but that was about it. Batgirl needs to be tall, and thin with Anjelinas body

Opposite for me, the 1st 2 burton films are okay as Burton films, but its not the Batman I grew up with for the last 30 years. I could never see Keaton being the Batman from the Comics or JLU.
