new screenpack concept
« on: July 01, 2008, 11:54:19 PM »
I've been throwing things together lately and came up with a pretty cool screenpack concept that I thought i would share.
Of course theres no background to it yet because I haven't decided on what to put in the pink yet.

I got some ideas through a few different youtube videos and vs series select screens.
If anyone wan't to code this ill throw the sprites together in pcx form.

Its a good concept, however it requires people to make custom portraits.....and sadly, way too many people are lazy to do that. I like the way it looks though.

yea sadly but I think all the best Screenpacks require you to edit the portrait anyway
like the infinity screenpack or the dc vs marvel screenpack. Actually ,I like the dc vs marvel screenpacks idea but the problem is there isnt many character slots this concept has 85 i think spots which is a good number for quality mugen characters. Like if your going to put anything you find in a screenpack yea then something where you dont have to make a portrait will probably be more beneficial but if your like me and like to use a quality mugen character then you probably want something nice to showcase it in that or this would be good for a project screenpack.

Is there any tutorials on how to make a screenpack besides the stuff on youtube?
Id rather someone with more skill code it though since I thought when you where to select the character the box would light up or something.
