but seriously, this is awesome, they turned a side scrolling game into a competitive fighting game.

EDIT: I checked the reviews on the first link and man, there are so many butthurt people there. they complain becuase castlevania went 3d XD

OMG!! What have konami done!? I am so disgusted and in shock from this that...I can't even make a opinion or rant on it. Ok maybe a little rant  It was insult to put the series in 3D and it was a insult to never give us a true sequel to Symphony of the Night...so add another insult now. Konami knows NOTHING about fighters..how can they expect to make a game half as good as Soul Calibur 4 or even compete with it? Figures this is what they were making..not a new Castlevania for console...even if they did it would be 3D. Thank god for "Order of Ecclesia" coming out this year..that should help me forget this abomination. Sorry for being this way, but this just rubs me the wrong way. Lol....  I think this game won't keep us bored, but I also don't think that it will not keep us bored for too long... they better follow-up with a freakin' sweet Castlevania game, afterwards, otherwise I'll be pissed...

I hope that they get it right. Granted, at the very least, Alucard had a number of moves he could do on his own. I can't see why the same can't be done for others.

Man, I swear...there's no point to having a opinion around here with you chasing me and hounding me. I'm not gonna bother to post what I think around these parts anymore...not with you around anyway. Besides it's pointless to get through to people who just don't get it anyway. Like I said...I stated my opinion and I stick by it. At least Order of Ecclesia is 2D...and Konami has always have recycled sprites in their games..so has Capcom. It's no secret that companies recycle sprites to save on development costs and time. As long as the gameplay is good that's all that matters to me. I loved all the 2D Castlevania's and I will enjoy the new one as well. I may have been harsh on this so called fighting game, but it's just not my cup of tea. There is already enough fighters out there..we don't need another. Just seems like Konami is trying to sell the Castlevania name by using a genre that is more popular. This better not tarnish the Castlevania name, but I feel that it just may do that. This just doesn't feel right to me....a Castlevania fighter simply just doesn't feel right at all. My rant is over...I have had enough. I'll just keep my opinions to myself from now on. I got better things to do than argue about petty little things like this. It's just a game anyway.
