now u guys probably know that final fantasy 7 might be remade for the ps3 and 360 with way better graphics but the company cant decide. they have dropped da project and picked it up a number of times plz help keep da game alive.

Well right now they are booked with FFXIII but I read after they are done FFXIII they might remake FFVII. Which I'm hoping they will be doing. BTW, I am #40921.

I'd much rather see a Chrono Trigger remake, and they've had petitions for that for years. Or FF6, which was way more epic and had a better cast than FF7 IMO.

I agree with b.easy here. Chrono Trigger and FF6 were both better games in my opinion. They're just older and not as well known as FF7 because they weren't as pretty. The reason FF7 is so popular is because it was a lot of people's first RPG. Just ask yourself, if FF7 is your favorite RPG, was it also the first FF game you played? most will say yes.

People like to believe they have more control over everything then they really do, but whatever,this is just me babbling anyways....
I am amused at some of the sillier petitions out there though.....It makes me laugh if nothing else...

There's been about 100's of these petitions.

Square-Enix doesn't really notice them. I mean after all the KH Final Mix USA petitions, they just said no way.

Although one of the head top guys at SE said that he's only going to do a FFVII remake if all the people that made the original game are there, and since most of them are busy with FFXIII, FFXIIIV and other rpgs, that might be awhile. Although if they do have free time, they will definitely do a remake.

Final Fantasy 7 for 360? Hell naw!!! Hope they never make the base ff games for that horrible system! . Since they do all these remakes to these other ff games ALOT, its only a matter of time before 7 is done ya know. dont worry, it will come. 8 and 9 dont need to be remade though. Although if 6 gets made with kingdom hearts 2 graphics, then you know that will be the very best ff right...

final fantasy 7 is not the only good one. ff6 is better than seven . sephiroths char design came from Setzer from ff6. ff9 is awesome cuz of the play control. but ff8 is grand. so many secrets and so much stuff to do. ff12 is a beast too. i know ff dissidia is gonna surpass . ffx broke some boundaries and will remain legendary. ffx2 was not given its proper credits cuz its play style was the best out of them all (even without the outfit changes). I actually wished they made x2 harder. you can beat that game in no time. and the oldman/ultimate weapon battle was the best thing i ever seen(greater than aeris' death) even though you were supposed to be able to bring her back but they had to rush production so they had to cut it out. cuz the guy that was sick in midgar was a key factor in that. if you helped him he would bring back aeris or be the determining factor to do so. but u couldnt go back to him cuz they cut it out. thats why u see some typos sometimes. if you use a goldfinger(like gameshark) you can see some cinematics that werent really shown while u played. but anyway, ff7 is a grand game and it deserves everything it gets. i heard that the japanese version lacked our WEAPONS (ultimate bosses) BUT they had many other Weapons that we didnt have like a onyx weapon with about 4 others. if metal gear one is better than all the rest when it was remade in gamecube (although meryls butt was bigger in the psx version) then so can ff7.

if that was the case no game would ever be made cuz ppl complain about everything. the whole process of this is even shown in mugen as you see everyday. if everyone quit cuz of bad remarks then nothing would get accomplished.

Yes, it is. I believe it's personal preference (Aka Popularity is what I mean) I mean there could be a game thats the worst of all time, and someone might love it....To them it would be "The best game". So there is no real game (Movie, or anything else) just opinions.
