NICE! Nick Fury! I knew the actor was going to portray the character, because they've been preparing him for the role for quite some time.

In Ultimate Marvel Universe, he appears as an African-American and his look really makes the character look like Samuel L. Jackson.

I can't wait for an actual live-action movie introducing Nick Fury & his story.. like they did with Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk this past year.

The Nick Fury cameo was the one that impacted EVERYONE more.
1. Sam Jackson as Nick wasnt confirmed by Jon Favrueau and instead just teased everyone when he made an appearance.

besides ruined surprise appearances aside,let`s remember that (from what i read) Ultimate Nick Fury was based physically with Samuel L.Jackson in mind...marvel even contacted him for permission on modelling the character after him IIRC

It was reported even before then, I knew about it for sometime. I think I heard about it in March. As for Nick Fury, KPT is right, Marvel contacted Jackson awhile back, way before the films.

i like the idea of introduce Nick Fury, but i prefer the original Nick Fury instead of the Samuel L. Jackson's one, but also prefer Jackson instead of Hasselhoff. But if there's gonna be a movie about Nick Fury it's obvious that Jackson will take the part because of the permission tha Jackson gave to marvel
