Da Good ole Days
« on: June 11, 2008, 12:12:30 AM »
Do any of you remember Da Good ole Days?Ya know like the 90's to early 2000's?I sure have I can remember like it was yesterday when gaming and TV was the Sh*t.I mean the OLD Nickelodan(however you spell it I forgot :D)When good shows like Doug and Rocko's Modern life,Ren and Stimpy,Ahhhh Real Monsters,Kablam the Rugrats and more?I sure have.I miss those good ole days when I used to play on the SNES & Gens we had back then.I can remember when I first got my Snes I was so happy.1st game was Super Mario World.I played that game for hours that X-Mas Day.Until my brother opened his present and he had a Gens and it came with Sonic one.I remember my brother and I would even exchange places between the Snes & Gens.I'd play his Gens while he play my Snes.Sigh I remember that.I can remember all the games we had for Snes and Gens.Super Mario World,Killer Instinct,Super Mario All Stars,Super Mario Kart,The Legend of Zelda a Link to The Past,Donkey Kong Country 1,2 & 3,Final Fantasy 2,3 & Mystic Quest,Streetfighter Alpha 2,Super Streetfighter 2,Sonic 1,2&3,Sonic & Knuckles,Streetfighter 2 champion addition,Vectorman 1 & 2,Streets of Rage 1,2 & 3,Phantasy star 3, And you get the picture. What's crazier is that's not even half the games we had back then we had ALOT MORE!!!!!!lol.Anyway TV was worth watching back then too.The shows today is garbage.I can remember when Sailormoon,DBZ,Pokemon,Yu Yu Hakusho,Rorouni Kenshin,Card Captors and more
was awesome back then. That was my anime back then.Sigh I miss those days. The gas prices were lower and the economy was good back then I mean jobs were easy to get back then.It was a cleaner environment for me and my family.I had a great time in Elementary school,I had so many friends that always came over just to hang with me and play some games.Sigh now things changed and All I do now is cry about how much I miss them good ole days. What about all of you do you miss the good ole days? :'( :'(

Ah dude you are making me depressed from thinking about this. The good old days, ahh. Ya I remember Nick. Good shows. (My fav was Doug, Angry Beavers, and Rocko Modern Life.) I had a Snes as well. That was fun. I had soo many games. Spider-man and Venom: Maximum Carnage, Killer Instinct, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario All-Stars, Art of Fighting, and many more. Anime, it was before I knew the correct term (Just used to call em cartoons xD). Sailor Moon, DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon (if that be a anime), Yu Yu Hakusho, G Gundam, and more. It was true as you say Animugen, the world was better. World didn't have much war, lower gas prices, pretty much not much worry. Now in a world thats full of chaos, all you got to keep you from going mad is your memories. (That sounds like a saying I heard from a movie but I'll go with it XD)
