finally i have started my first wip : Mel Masters 
Information :


Mel Masters    sprite by Maran Sama
(the son and pupil of Ken, Mel Masters, is now a brand-new street fighter. with a red Bandanna Ryu gave him and the teaches of his father, Mel goes out after Sean, his training mate and friend, to try stop him and got him free from his evil hadou. In the way Mel will try to proof the world, his father Ken, and Ryu; and mainly to himself, that he deservs a place in the street fighter History, not only by being "the Ken's son"

AND I HAVE PERMISSION OF MARAN~SAMA TO CREATE THIS CHARACTER!
i have started this wip on 1 april (yes 1 april.....)
i have for now 41 sprites and 11 sounds.

Ideas :

-It will have some of Ryu's Super's/move's
-And Some of Ken's (of course)
-And some others.........
-There is a 20% percent change that the hadouken is a little weaker than normal ( just like dan's Gadouken)


Sprites:

-The standing sprites are : DONE ( The Same As The Normal Ken Because He Want's To Be somewhat like his father ) EDIT : Maybe i will change the stand 
-Walking Forward Sprites are : DONE
-Walking Back Sprites are : DONE
-The Danger!! Sprite Is : DONE
-The Crouch Sprite is : DONE
-The Charging Sprites are : DONE
-The running/dashing (i don't know how do you call this ) sprites are : NOT DONE BUT I AM WORKING ON IT
- The air Hadouken Sprites are : ALMOST DONE

Sounds :

-I have some special haouken Sound ( but i dont telling it for now )
-I have the ARGHH sound for when his hadouken is weaker.
-And The arggh shoot! from when the time is up and he loses.
-The Danger Sound
-A Special Shoryuken Sound Too.
-The Okay sound.
-The get ready! sound for a intro.
-And more..............

i will work everyday on this character.
and i will tell everything what i have done when its done 
i will post some sprites next week or the end of this week ( or when i know how to make gif's  )

they are smilar of maran's one ( and some liberties )
i am trying to create the character so original as possible.
with of new moves!

i am now busy with a air hadouken, maybe i will post later this day (or tomorrow)
and there is a super/or hyper when his hand's are on fire and he does fire hadouken's, and another type shoryuken's (because he does fire shoryuken's already)
But it can always change....

Good idea!
Although who's that one kid in KOF? I think he could make a cool base for a kid Mel Masters.

Anyways, I think if they made a sequel to SF3 (story wise), I think they should start off with a new generation of characters. Like Namco did with Tekken 3.
I think Mel would have to take over as Ken's style, and I guess if Ryu and Sakura had a kid, he/she (if they had 2 kids, one could take over for Sakura and the other for Ryu).
