Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom

As I understand it, Capcom would LOVE to release this game in the US, but legal stuff is preventing it.

Basically, Tatsunoko's characters have been around for years, and in that time, many different companies have paid them to get the rights to bring their characters to American audiences. It's no problem to release this game in Japan, as Tatsunoko still owns all the rights to their characters there. If Capcom is to bring this game to the US however, they would need permission from each and every one of those companies who own the rights to each particular series, and those companies aren't about to do that for free.
So yeah, there's a good chance this game won't come out in the US.

if it comes out on the japanese ps3, then we ps3 owners can by it import and it will still play in our consoles.
I also read that it was being released for the import wii, so US/Euro wii owners will have to get a converter and the game imported.

Since Karas is definitely in the game, I will do it no matter what!

True.....Probably our best bet is a limited arcade release here in the states....I dont think it could ever get a console release...How many people are very familiar with Tatsunoko....idk maybe Im wrong...I mean look at how the speed racer movie did here

I know Hakushon Daimaō was confirmed as a Wii exclusive character for Tatsunoko.

I hope Geo Stellar(Megaman Star Force), Azure Dragon(Devil Kings), and other capcom chars will appear in the game, but Geo is maybe a Wii exclusive character.

It means that the characters or extras are exclusive for the console version.

I think instead of bringing it over here due to licensing issues and what not, they are gonna try and transform it and upgrade it into mvc 3  , i dont know if anyone mentioned that before since i havent looked to far back in this thread but hopefully i cant wait to hear more news about it. i do want to try out this version though it looks like it plays awesome, but then again i never got to play namco x capcom for the same reasons....
