I was going to do it, but the problem is that my mini studio has a natural Reverb to it that makes my voice sound like its in a tin can unless I use effects. Its perfect for music, but it doesnt sound right for a Mugen character, which are usually very dry. I could give it a shot sitting in my closet with my laptop, and Mic.

@race the current batman has a voice clip saying "i'm btman" i need the closest tone to that..that's why i asked for a voice sample..

Because we made no announcement. He was a forum WIP but since has been handed to someone for upgrading and maintenance. Did you hve something you wanted to contribute to him or something?

You sound disappointed like we made a bad decision and now he won't be perfect.  Guess you don't trust us or something.

Let's just put it this way.

IMT's Batman is just that, the representation of a forum-wide collective effort. We would not give the responsibility to upgrade him to just anyone.

As far as who, you're just going to have to wait till we present to find out, but rest assured, you will not be dissapointed with the results.

ok you seem to be starting something here.

like G-lux and EX said..batman is an IMT forum team wip so many members contributed in some way, most members provided sprite sets for batman and it was coded and released by Acey originally.
every one was credited for what they've provided for the IMT batman project (check the readme) so no one is getting all the glory.
i don't remember seeing you providing anything for this batman!! so i don't know why you starting this.

well if you must know i'm the one who is reprogramming batman and i was asked by Acey to take over batman like a month ago, and i'm sure that you know that is Acey is one of the top of this site.
i'm sorry if i'm not up to your standards but then again that's not my problem.

Spider, you're wierd, I think someone should offer a chill pill.

1) There is no voting, there never was. There was no vote to chose Batman, there was no vote to pick who was allowed to participate or what content would be used or thrown out. Sorry but every single company needs one CEO and as such every mugen project needs one project manager and on Batman that is myself. A fail point for many group projects is having a bunch of arms and no heads. Obviously the head needs to be aware of the teams opinions and take that into consideration but decisions need to be made on a micro level every step of the way.

2) Batman is a forum wip, that's the sprites, not the programming. Having multiple programers would have been inefficent and sloppy. I programmed the first version for the release last October, Iron Fist (Mr. 47) is making the current set of programming updates.

3) Those involved are kept informed. The more you contributed the more you know about the future of Batman. I don't see your name onthe list below, which is probably why you're not getting any PMs about the progress of Batman.

No one person is going to get "all the glory" for This Batman.

Look at it this way. Everyone contributed to the project, but Acey did all the coding. But no where will you see Acey's name stand about anyone else's because of that and you won't ever see Acey brag about that fact. The same can be said about the next release of IMT Batman.

Besides, if everyone tried to fine-tune this WIP, it would never reach completion because everyone would do it differently. But the person doing this Mr. 47 is someone we trust. Have some faith in us man. When haven't we come through?
