Mugen Crashing

This usually happens in arcade mode on the first round. I'll be playing fine, then it  will just freeze and quit without explanation...
It doesn't happen when mugen is loading before or at the end of the match, it crashes at random points in the middle of the fight. It also won't crash in any other modes...

Nope, the screen freezes for a few seconds, then it just closes itself on the spot.

Mugen freezing is also caused by button mashing.

Or my favorite issue of all virtual memory, and perhaps you have it set to unload system data and its conflicting I tell everyone turn all your sparks, explodes, helpers, down, turn your video exceleration down
and if you have a extra hard drive hook it up as additional virtual memory this should stop the freezing if not you need a new version of mugen something you added is conflicting with your old version, or mabey its in the select, random/randomselect, no music=, or order can cause problems as well Good Luck

I think your right, but now it crashes giving me that "winmugen.exe has encou8ntered an error and needs to close, we are..."

Now you need to isolate the problem at least were getting closer, revert the video mode to 320X240=0, no sound no sound effects for mugen tun off in .cfg then start mugen and tell me the last line in the mugen.log
