Can anyone give me good advice on a gift monitor for my dad from $200-800?

I want to help my step-mom find a good flatscreen LCD for my dads computer for their anniversary. Does anyone have some good recommendations? It doesn't have to have a killer refresh rate, but I want him to have something really nice. Its basically just for everyday use, but it needs to have all the standard inputs in the back and a coaxial would be nice too. Any advice? I've looked on all the standard sites and see plenty of possibilities but not enough testimonials to make a decision I'm happy with. Thanks guys!

well i recently bought a Samsung Syncmaster 906BW which came out around 240-250 maybe with a 40 dollar rebate (which i just received.. after 3 months of waiting,only to have the wrong first name on the check...  ) but its a good monitor, analog and dvi-d connections and 3 year factory warranty(one main reson i bought it) quick responce, this actually the first lcd monitor i bought for my computer and i love it, too bad my cpu doesn't have a dvi-d.. but i instead of buying a video card i'll buy a better cpu when this one dies.
