Stat and moveset wise, Darkrai is a extremely versatile Pokemon, hence why he is uber.

As a matter of fact, the pokemon called Darkrai would be the embodiment of darkness,as well as becoming the first dark type uber in pokemon games
He`s not that versatile in fact...take Darkrai Dark void and it`s pretty much useless...the combination of Dark Void+Nightmare+Bad Dreams ability allows Darkrai to chunk out 75% of your pokemon`s HP in two turns(unless you have insomnia, why assures a win)

i think hes versitile for the fact he cant learn both Spacial Rend and Roar of Time for a dark pokemon, moveset all you need are those dragon moves, dark void and either dream eater or nightmare. Darkrai stats are impressive, his speed and special attack are super deadly and for a dark pokemon his defenses arent all that bad. I like my movie darkrai and ofcourse i dont use him(that much) but i dont think hes useless, hes actaully handy in 2v2, dark void and both opponents are alseep, then you just have your other pokemon beatdown while they are alseep

Bumping for justice...anyway,who do you think is the best non-uber pokemon that the 4th generation brought us?
In my opinion it`s Empoleon:Steel+Water=Win in my book as it has resistances on most of the 17 types, being neutral to fire and grass, and weak to elect, ground and fight, and that can be solved with another pokemon
Pick you bests from this new game! :)

I'd probably have to say Garchomp. His high base Attack and Speed stat ALONE are enough to make people fear him.

Lucario.

steel/fighting type is awesome. Lucario can even do a dragon pulse and a dark pulse attack which is win in my book :)

In because you talked trash about Sceptile, who is one of my beloved pokemon(first starter in the third gen i used)
He`s fast as hell and has great special attack overall...i doubt that Garchomp could take a Dragon Pulse from Sceptile without a scratch(currently i`m catching Heatran at Stark Mountain for my little sister)

Not a problem...i actually think that Lucario is the most overrated pokemon since Mewtwo, but i`m not saying that even the now underdog Blaziken can tear him apart...oops,did i typed that... ;*))(JK,Lucario is ok,but still OR)
Heatran Caught!i got a lucky frozen status with ice fang and stayed in his duskball! :D
lol,Sceptile Sub-seeding ownage...Umbreon couldn`t even break it! :D

Lucario sux, hes so over rated> The best pokemon of the forth generation hands down is Garchomp, solid defenses, pretty good hp, great attack and speed, Garchomp would destroy Lucario as if it was nothing

Sceptile was better in the 3rd gen when moves like leaf blade, crunch, dragon claw and the punches were special, but you can still work a decent sp atk Sceptile or a sword dancer sceptile which i have :P

No Way in hell can he stand a chance against Sceptile, Water against Grass? Be my guess.

He looks cooler. ;*))

edit: Wait he's Ground, that's still a lacks advantage against grass though. :-[ :P

edit2:  what the hell Sceptile looks much better in there like a raptor and Lucario looks much worse, like really stiff like a doll. ???

I really like Garchomp of course...he looks like he`s looking for food at anytime(that DA art posted before is awesome)
Even tough his main moves changed to physical,Sceptile can play good either as physical or special attacker :)

Lucario has a weird typing,as fellow fighter will kill him off at the first chance...but let`s not forget he can potentially shut them down with psychic o.O#

Garchomp can learn fire fang, and against scpetiles extremely poor defense it would go down first

even if Luario can hit Pyschic, theres 2 things that stop it for meaning a comeback, that fact that he doesnt get a stab for it or he doesnt pack a punch from other users like Espeon and Alakazam, even Gengar hits harder with Pyschic, and the fact that most Fighting types have decent Sp.Def stats like all 3 Hitmons, and Machamp

Also lets not forget that Gallade is Pyschic and Fighting so even if Lucario hit psychic it would do nothing, so basically Gallade is Lucarios worst nightmare
