maybe because quan-chi has been in da mk story since late mk2 and mk3 he was just never playable until mk4 plus he was da main boss as well as shang tsung on deadly alliance, so quan chi has a lot to do wit da mk storyline shinnok is nuttin more then his master for a short period of time. And plus quan chi is very deceptive and sneaky hes good at tricking ppl thats why hes prolly part of story mode.

And Shao Kahn would beat da sh*t outta shinnok shinnok suks hes not strong at all unless he has that amulet sh*t...

Dudes not even a threat he fought just like a regular character on mk4 he did the same amount of damage as everyone else and he was the boss! wit shao kahn it was always a hard @$$ battle cuz he was way stronger and way bigger.

I wonder why Kung Lao isn't here. He defeated Baraka which means he's stronger. I understand Kung Lao being in this game more than Baraka. So I wonder why Kung Lao didn't make it? Unless he's a DLC?

Shinnok was an okay boss, but he really didn't have no power. All he did was mimic other people power. If I'm not mistaken the amulet he had was fake. Quan chi had the real one. Later Quan chi and Shang Tsung team up kill Lui Kang Shang Tsung broke his neck. Then they kill Shao Kahn, although they had no idea that the Shao Kahn they killed was a clone not the real one. Basically the Amulet was something to control the Dragon King Army which they suceed by the way. later The Dragon King awaken from his sleep to take the amulet back. If you ask me the toughest boss in Mortal Kombat I fought was Onaga The Dragon King and Blaze. This is beyon Mortal Kombat 4. anyway on topic this game is going to rock.

Anyway, I wonder what kind of music will be in the game.  The same ol' boring music we've come to expect or something a little more lively?  And what will be this game's equivalent of Konquest mode?
