That would be stupid if those were the only characters in the game... I mean.. this is an epic (yet kinda stupid) crossover... 5 people to each side definitely doesn't make a good game... we need more chars!!

There will be Ed Boon said in an interview there would be like twelve for each side. They are going to announce 4 more characters at ComiCon. I'm still hoping for Johnny Cage & Kano for the MK side and Deathstroke & Joker for DC side.

I'm still looking forward to.. well.. on the MK side.. Kabal, Reptile, Kano, Kenshi, Kurtis Stryker, Raiden, and Chameleon... and on the DC side... well.. I'm not really a DC fan.. so I wouldn't know all too well who's on the DC side.. but I would have to say.. The Joker, V (V for Vendetta), Green Lantern, Deadshot, Green Arrow, and The Sandman (DC Comics).

Um.. who cares.. it's just like saying Batman helped out Superman.. I've never seen that.. V doesn't need help anyways! He's got mad skills!  I just think that he would be a cool creation, because I think he can fight really well, and could have a very interesting story in this game.

man I'm sorry to be like the black sheep or the negative one, but from the gameplay I saw, man this game looks really bad. Really stiff, not fluid at all. It looks really clumsy.

I wish Midway would evolve their fighting games and quit f**k*** around. Hell, you can't even run or dash in this game like you can in every other new fighting game known to man. Even in Virtua Fighter you can dash and Tekken, and those games are kinda stiff, but not to where it feels bad to play.

Dammit Boon, why can't you tune up and fix your fighting game engines before trying something new? It's like a few minor things are always left out that keeps MK from being really good.

yeah but that's not running in combat, that's pre scripted, like an event activated by an action, not free running. Like i can't tap forward forward to dash or run. It has the same goofy movement the last 3 MK games had. yeah I can run through a building, but it does nothing for movement during combat, I can't close the gap between me and my enemy quickly as I would like. Come on, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

It just looks bad to me. MK isn't evolving like it should. It came really close with Deception, but it was missing a few things that held it back. I would have just worked off that. I guess just leave the fighting games to the East/Japan, they do a much better job.

I don't have a problem with the overall speed, it's just the game isn't fluid. For a 3D fighter and game's transitions from animation to animation should be smooth. Take Dead or Alive and Soul Calibur, the animation transitions are very smooth, and take other games like Virtua Fighter and Tekken, even Bloody Roar, the transition from animation to animation is very smooth and fluid.

Like for example look at Sonya's bicycle kick, the ending animation when she is recovering is very stiff. It's like they have arthritis.

Deadly Alliance as far as speed is concerned, was pretty good, but it was kinda stiff. Deception move forward with gameplay, but backwards on speed and fluidity. And Armageddon went forward a little bit in certain areas but went too far backward in pther areas

Man I really wanted to like this game. I got over the whole DC thing, it doesn't bother me because I'm all about gameplay, but when I saw the gameplay, my feelings were really hurt.

and one thing they need to get rid of is canned combos. They were ok in the 2D game but for 3D games, guaranteed hits and combos should be based off reading your enemy, zoning and positioning, counter hits, and stuns. calculations like that.

Juggles are fine though

I agree with the fluidness... I mean they're doing the best they can, and I think they're pushing more towards being even more realistic because of the DC part of the game... I think that the hits and combos could be faster though.. I mean.. did you see batman's punch? Way too slow... especially the recovering time... oooooo....  ;*))
