Well, its a countdown until Xmas. So we'll just have to wait and see. I personally would like to see some MK8 stuff and another adventure game like Mythologies, Shaolin Monks. Maybe even a new MKSF

I agree. I enjoyed Shaolin Monks since MK2 was my favorite MK game that used the 2d Engine. MK3 felt weird with the running. Although the stage elements were awesome.
I would like to see a Shaolin Monks 2, based on MK3.  I mean it would work.
MK3 had Liu Kang, and Kung Lao so I don't see why not.
Now that I think about it, they could do a Shaolin Monks 3 as well since MK4 Gold had Kung Lao.

Exactly and iwould certainly buy it as long as it stayed true the first, anyways the wait begins for april 18 and i reall really really hope this new mk is good becuase i have lost interest in mk since they went 3d, i mean i grew on mk and im still a fan but golly i hope they pull this off so i can get back into mk

Oops, I didn't look at the actual counter its self. But before the site loads you can see words that say "Christmas countdown." Plus, what major game do you know that was announced as one date but didn't really get released until the holiday season.

Meh....I think MK is a dead franchise...they should just let it go. I haven't seen a good MK since MK2...MK4 was pretty cool, but everything else sucked. I just hope they can manage to get that old skool MK feeling back...more like MK2.

Anyway, yeah..I might give it a chance if they go back to their roots with this one, but I'm also not a big fan of the MK franchise..just MK2. I wouldn't mind the return of Shao Khan and Goro somehow..they were cool.
