Hi def Mugen?

Ok ive been gone from mugen for a while while i was in Iraq so i hope this doesnt sound like to stupid of a question.
What exactly is Hi Def Mugen and what exactly does it do? also where would i go to download it once i understand it

never trust wikipedia in my opinion but di def mugen is just better quality stages and stuff.
you can DL d idef mugen from randomselect

I DLed it and i must say the stages are very pretty Thank you for the DL and wiki link, if i may ask another question, i realize stages work with hi def but do non hi def stages work? and ive read on the site people talking about hi def life bars those go in just the way regular life bars do? thank you for your input

only hi def stages work on hi def mugen
if you put a regular stage the bottom have of the stage will be black and like there are after images when you move that dont go away and it just sucks. try it and see for yourself. yeah the lifebars go in just the same.
