My MUGEN is FREEZING up. Please help.

Whenever I play MUGEN, every once in a while, it just freezes. For no reason whatsoever. When A bad guy hits me, or I'm dealing damage to some character, or if someone knocks me up in the air, sometimes, it'll just freeze and then I have to click it off and restart MUGEN again. And then sometimes it freezes up so bad that my ENTIRE computer freezes up and I have to restart every thing all over again!

It used to happen every once in a while, but now it's been happening more and more often lately. Please help me. Do I have to insert a code, make a code, put a code on every character or the screen pack or what? I'm totally clueless and I have no idea on how to fix this. I just want to do something so my MUGEN will never freeze up ever again.

Ok not to be mean, but it's been a little while since my last post.

Does ANYONE know how to help me with this problem? Has anyone had this kind of problem? Please I'd really like to know. I need to know how m mugen keeps freezing every now and then and what I can do to fix it.

Is it on a certain character?

i would try redownloading winmugen, and transfer your characters, stages, and select into it, and see if the problem keeps happening. If not then it could be a glitch in a certain character, stage, or screenpack.

Have you tried using FreeRAM XP Pro 1.52? I've been using this program and for me it reduces mugen crashes and sometimes it never crashes at all while finishing an entire game.

I think one factor why mugen crashes is because of too many characters squeezing inside your PC's RAM.

I'm not sure if a certain or certain characters are doing it. It's kinda hard to tell. It's very random with me. It's not like there's a time limit or anything. It's not like it'll freeze after 30 minutes or something like that. It's so random I can't really tell what's causing it. And I've never heard of this FreeRAM XP Pro 1.52, but I'd like to try it. I have 213 characters, so it might be quite a bit for me. I'll see what I can do.
