If it was like a really old movie from the 60's, 70's or 80's, then probably not because a lot of games make tributes to older material. I can't say the countless games that have used lightsabers, probably most of them inspired off of Star Wars.
But if it was a movie, then probably yeah.

Originality is pretty much dead in movies these days, hence all the comic book based films, cartoon based films, anime based films and video game based films, remakes, and sequels to old films that people thought would never exist.
Back 3 years ago I would never expect a Rocky sequel, Rambo sequel, Die Hard sequel,  Indiana Jones sequel, Mummy sequel, TMNT sequel... All those film series kind of died with time. Unlike Saw which pops out a sequel every year or so.

Both Link and Cloud can survive being lit on fire, being frozen, survive explosions, get crushed by huge blocks/boulders and survive being slashed and stabbed.

I have to side with Cloud on this one, sure, link has fairy's to bring him back to life, and Cloud could always use autolife, but omnislashi is still a big weight in the fight, link would die nine times before he hit the ground.
