New Sonic game called "Sonic Unleashed"!

And Sega apparently doesn't want anyone to know about the game, considering that they've removed every trace of media regarding the game off the face of the internets.

Yeah, hopefully we'll get some official news soon.

its funny you know about the sonic series. it has been in a sucky period for a long time now since they made the transfer from the genesis system but yet though we may not like the games its hard not to let sonic go still. its like a drunken family member that comes to every party drunk and messes it up but we still invite them to come anyway. i hope that this one is good and i hope seriously that they bring the real speed back to sonic because he so deserves it. still the old sonic is faster than the new sonic and for me its a problem. i mean its possible to make a game fast as crap but also make it fun great and innovative but i think sega was in a rush to make a good game they kinda lost their head but now i believe they are starting to take their time and bring sonic back piece by piece and hopefully a lot less kiddy.

** at the comparison. People always say "This is his last chance" each time a game is announced after Sonic Heroes. It's funny really because it's just two bad games (Shadow and Sonic '06). His handheld games are awesome, but no one ever brings those up.

I see what you mean by the speed. In Sonic '06 he ran slower than usual, but games like SA2 (especially in Green Forest) and Secret Rings; he runs just as fast as the older games. Ofcourse we don't want him too fast or else we can't see what's going on.

Like go to a friends house, or wait for a doctors appointment etc. Also All the Sonic Advance games while they were good, they didn't come close to as challenging as Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 (not even Sonic 1), and honestly there are people that only liked Sonic 1 because Tails and Knuckles weren't in it. While I do think a Sonic only (no other character besides Sonic, Metal, and Robotnik) would be a great reboot of the series. The last time I can say I actually well enjoyed a Sonic game was back when he looked like this.

Just because you only use them when it's convenient doesn't mean you should disclude the games entirely (unless you didn't mean it like that). Also, even though the Advance/DS games didn't top Sonic 1, 2, 3&K doesn't mean they can't be enjoyed.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles is my all time favorite videogame period, but you don't see me downing the new games which are also enjoyable just because they don't top the classics. Hence the word "classics", nothing beats classics.

I know it's you're opinion... but i'm just a rabid Sonic fanboy (the only thing i'm a fanboy of) **
