I think both Sentrys will be great. I'm sure I'll have a great time with Aceys and my grand children will love playing with the Unlimited's version when it's finally released. ;*))
please that s exactly what this topic shouldn t become  8=|
by the way the two characters are using different haircuts so they are not from the same era that s great for my mugen.   :)

I personally think that if both creators will collaborate for making Sentry it would be best because each creator will be able to bring his best ideas to the table and the result will be a more complete character.
But if not, good luck to you both anyway. ;)

There's no actual competition, guys. Just a friendly quip back and forth. If there's room for approximately 12,000 Ryus and 8,500 Ioris in mugen, then there can be 2 Sentries.  :)

Oh, and we don't have anything on our forum anyway. Everything is top secret right now.

I don't get the "years and years" quip, since Deadpool took us about 4 months from concept to RC1, and we have a few other things in the rafters... but then we haven't told anyone about them so I suppose it looks like we haven't done anything for a year. Good things come to those who wait, kiddos...

I think it best that I don't finish that statement. Anyways, that not true. I believe the Unlimited forum member got that idea from the fact that I said that Infinity Mugen Team was the only one ever to bring Sentry into the M.U.G.E.N world. I had no idea you were working on a Sentry as well.

I'm looking forward to both, because I think they will both play differently and bring different fun things to the table.

just like how there's an EOH Silver Surfer and a DCvM Silver Surfer who both do different things.

I haven't seen anything of the other sentry besides the newly posted stance, but judging by how fun deadpool was, I would be willing to follow progress on ANYTHING created by those guys.

Anyway, friendly jibing is friendly. All the same, IMT isn't the only team bringing the Sentry to mugen, was the point. Now off I go, to get back to not working on another of god knows how many WIPs.

(I agree, these are friendly jibes)

Not counting FX, MvC Wolverine only has 500 sprites, that is where I got the number from. In all fareness, Deadpool has a good  800 original character sprites (including the sheep).

The basic moves are all fine but I'm trying to figure out if I want him to have a projectile or not because he never uses one in the comics, or I could give him moves where he dashes with his body but the last thing I want is for him to be a Captain Marvel clone. Then I was thinking about throwing peices of the ground like hulk but... hulk already does that.

I'm looks for suggestions for his specials (not hypers, not throws)...  :-??

In my opinion , you should give him as many specials as Superman but in melee style and throw (like Geese and Zangief) ... if you give him projectiles , they should be like Hulk's and Mole's (road , meteor , car ...).

Some idea for special (with super speed effects and solar sparks):
-a reflect for projectiles like Jin Chonrei's
-fast moving and hit like Flash , Vanessa (from kof)
-some throw anti-air like Zangief (when he grab his ennemi , he could fly and hit him like he did with Hulk in World War Hulk)
-some aerial move like Vega
-super amor stance where he absorbs the strengh of P2
-Aerial combo like Enja in Samourai Spirit

i saw in this 1 comic in the new avengers all the supre villans broke free and they where fighting on this island where they wherebeing held and

he grab sum1 (i forgot who) and flew all the way to space and droped them slamed them sumthing like that  :-??

maybe an anti air grab throw thats like the soul throw except he uses two hands to grab the opponent. maybe a projectile with the same properties as ingrid where it explodes on contact but the explosion counts as a hit and gives u time to possibly dash over and do a launcher into aerial rave combo but as a side effect the projectile could be slow. just stray far away from the BEAMS plz!!!! maybe a warp move that warps behind the opponent in version, in front of the opponent in another version, and the strongest version he can warp and stand still in counter animation so if the opponent does a standing physical attack he will counter attack with an attack thus making it safe and unpredictable in a way

Actually, I suggested the first one as a hyper. XD Sort of like Bison's psycho crusher.

Also wheres that sentry punch from? Its cool to see him beat the juggernaut. :D

I do believe that there is a beam attack he used in age of the sentry. I think.

actually i see some quite big proportions/shading issues you definetly should try to fix...try to look at every detail in seperation...like take a look at all hands and then you will see the differences between them...then the legs, the cape etc...pls dont take this as offence because i see you are really giving your heart into this work and i am absolutely excited about your works  ^:)^
