As for the "scruffing" comment, I still say it looks completely fake. When he drew his hand back, it moved like a stuffed animal. Also, the puppy's yelps came rather late, in comparison of when it was being thrown and when it cried. Also, it doesn't even look like it's breathing.

Honestly it all depends on the quality of the video. A lot of my older videos in mugen (which I removed from youtube) usually you would see me shoot a hadoken, and not hear it til a minute later.

First off, recording off a computer and using a camcorder are different things. And, really, the whole video was in snyc. I doubt the sound would have desynced about a second after the puppy is thrown, and resync afterwards. If you can give me a good reason to doubt this thing is fake, give yourself a hand. But I'm wondering if some of you are actually trying to convince yourselves that it's real, even with evidence pointing to the contrary. I'll even go as far as saying that if there's an official statement saying that this is a real puppy, the mods here can ban me. That's how certain I am that it's fake.

As far as it being "sick", it's absurdist humor. Really, if it was an even more obviously fake purple stuffed dog, no one would care. I'm certain of that.

I'm reminded of a comic someone posted in another forum about this issue. It summarized, it's relatively okay for a soldier to rape and murder a family, but throwing a puppy (real or fake) is terrible, because puppies are cute.

And calling him a coward? Come on, you and I can think of a bunch of derogatory names for him if he did throw a real puppy. Coward wouldn't be one of them.

Uh people were outraged about the fact soldiers mistreated Iraqi prisoners with those photos. The thing is, if a video of a soldier raping killing a woman or child was on the net, there would be more outrage then this puppy incident. The fact is, the stories of women and children being killed have a disconnect with sociality cause there isn't much to connect to, watch a vid, there is a face, a real life person right there, dying. I'll put it to you this way, that puppy could be the cutest thing on earth, but if that incident was reported and there was no vid, there would be little outrage.
