I think everyone knew that the ps3 would pwn hd-dvd with its blu-ray player. now if sony would not have kick out the father of playstation for the horrible start of the ps3 everything would be okay in ps land.but hey whatever, the ps3 is doing great this year. it outsold the 360 in the USA

Kinda suck because I just got a HD player for Christmas. Not really mine, but the whole family's. So, it doesn't really matter to me because i'm just sticking to regular DVDs anyways

Fact is, Blu-Ray wouldn't have done as well if it wasn't for the PS3.

And I was going to buy one too for $180.00 with the regular dvd upscale crap. I'll just wait for the blue ray to come down in price and buy that instead now.

yeah the 360 was outsold by 17%.

It would have helped the 360 to have the HD player actually built in, not just a $170.00 addon to buy.

that's because everyone already owns a 360 from the three years prior that it was kicking the PS3's butt.

well i don't know where you live but here in the usa here is the breakdown

pro = 350 wi-fi = 100 hd-dvd add-on = 130 pro + wi-fi + add-on = $580 with a 20 gig hard drive

ps3 40 gig = $400 with wi-fi, blu-ray player and a 40 gig hard drive

obviously the ps3 is the way better deal.

also here in Mexico (haha) our PS3 is 80GB. and also Sony will launch a 120GB version IIRC..

also BluRay is in constant development, wich prototypes has reached the 200 GB!! so...if 360 save u 30 bucks, i say 360 gets u out of the future.

I know soonar than later, Microsoft will do something about it, but as of now, PS3 PWNS everyone. XD

Yep the prices are dropping.

I have a 60GB PS3.

But there is a 80GB PS3 in USA(which I recommend you to buy if you want usb ports and be able to play ps2 and ps1 games on it).
