the beatles are not overrated. is just that the context has change. if we transport ourselves to they era, they were bigger than Elvis, even when John lennon declared "before Elvis it was nothing".
they caused a sociological fenomeno to global levels, never reached again.(not even by Michal jksn). they opened doors and minds, and created styles while influed in countless borning musicians.
in music history they are a bookmark. of course they ARE NOT overrated.

wanna talk about great musicians?? there is Muse, Pearl Jam, Queen, Elton John, and so many many many others.

Thank goodness (thank God if you're religious) they're history now. Someone should do a mercy shot on Britney 'cause she got no hope left. Same with those boy-band punks: They're now alcoholic (A.J. from the F*g-street boys and Chris Kirkpatrick from N'sync) or gone and forgotten like the loser pieces of trash they are. Save for Justin Timberlake, but he's gotta fall someday.

Those (bands?) ruined the 90's decade. I wish good ole Heavy Metal bands came back. Too bad their decadence is absolute. Poison, Mötley Crüe, and even Guns 'N' Roses (or should I say that Axl Rose son-of-a-b*tch who screwed up the band) are clean examples. They're just in the same level as Britney. Iron Maiden is but a shadow of what it was in the 80's, and AC/DC are missing since 2000.

What can I say? No more music gems like those bands were.
