Hah, can't believe I missed all those people snapping at me.

I'm just brutally honest, is all.
Some aren't used to your style of critique is all.

You're right. If people keep pointing out mistakes in his first character, he'll never get better.

and why not? It's how i got better.

any who the bugs i was going to mention was mentioned before. with the infinites and all. however the sounds of the char(the fx) sound a bit choppy. i can help with that if you like(i can remove the clicks and pops out sound 9,0 as well as 22.0). The voices also are very low in volume.

over all this is a new char that deserved to be in mvc in the first place and im glad someone made a attempt and with time i know this char will be exponentially better than now. keep up the good work. :w00t:
104/150 chars made.

I was thinking more about the dragon hyper. maybe spamming punc hwould have the dragon breathe fire, and pressing kick would have it drop metools. you could move while breathign fire, but you'd have to stop moving and breathign fire to drop a metool. the metools would walk around on the ground and shoot, causing additional damage. the trade off on the two attacks is that one sacrafices mobility and attack opportunity to set up more attack opportunities. maybe the metools could be used to stun the opponent, allowing the fire breath to hit, and the opponent could hit the metools to kill them like amingos cacti.

Well, personally, I like this character. It plays well, and I like its pre-recorded western accent.

On another note, the sound effects when the metal blades hit the ground are quite loud and scratchy.

Crashman is next, then Airman.  :)

Kamekaze was kind enough to Volunteer to help in removing the scratchyness and pops of the sounds.  I am sure he will do a great job with it.

Here is another great video of Metalman Vs Megaman.
check out the Description on the Youtube video itself for info and credits.   ;D

Oh yea I almost forgot:
If you don't want to use the EOH port if opened in Fighter Factory sprite 3 is a standard select port. Enjoy!

He's really cool with his buzz-saw attacks! Brutal!  :w00t:
Like that western accent too. Before this, I only thought that Fireman has that accent, but you made it possible that Metalman will have that accent too. 8)

I actually love it when the screen flashes. It is reminiscent to Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, matter of fact the other 2 versus games have it too (X-Men Vs. SF & MSH Vs. SF) I'm guessing the flash is there to give the player a sense that the impact of the attacks are heavy. Almost like if you get knocked out you may see a flash of white just before you hit the floor.

I think that is the type of realism they were going for when they made the Marvel and Capcom fighting games. The only MvC series title that does not offer the flash is MvC2, I was really disappointed when they took it out. =/ But then again they took alot of stuff out of that game such as shadows behind a characters super move and individual stage music, it was ashame but anyway.

Metalman is the bomb keep, a quality MvC: EoH hero this one is.

Here is a alternate Select / Life bar port that I made a long time back for Metalman that I forgot about and never actually released.
So if this suites your personal mugen game better, your more then welcome to use it.
Enjoy!

Holy Crud. I've been complaining for 4 weeks straight about getting in here, because i wasn't able to. I told anthonygamer and fr33dom about my problem, but just now I realized taht i was typing in teh wrong username.

I have been working on Metalman what i have left are his air combos, and prjectile implementation.

I am so sorry for teh long wait, but my memory failed me here. I hope you like his end product.

Very nice job for a character. I, being a usually disliker of MVC style character, am surprised that it came out to be such a fun character to play as, but I have one or two complaints.

First it seems that he gains power way to fast, and he can even gain it during supers. I'm not sure if you meant it to be that way but it seems if one move connects he gains one powerbar at least. His dragon super is the worst offender of this cause. I would be please if you could tone it down.

Secondly, he seems really spammy (I know MVC character but still....).

Finally, it may just be me but that shoryuken seems REALLY out of place for a character that focuses on ripping foes into shreds.

Anyway it's a nice character and I can't wait for the updates.

Have a nice night.
I'm about to put a little fury into your soon to be fatal life.

I don't mean to dreg up an old thread unless it's important. Even though I have had Metalman in my roster for a while I haven't really playes him til today. I found a move that if you can do it fast enought that once it hits it you can keep doing it until they are dead. When you push back and fierce kick metal man jumps back and throws a saw blade. Here's a pic of what I mean.

Yea that will be fixed in the next version.  If you noticed when you do a hyper Metalman gets more hyper energy too, that will also be fixed amongst other things.   :w00t:
