I think enough people have downloaded the game to have a legitimate bug thread. Please post any and all bugs you notice EXCEPT for the following:

1) Scar's characters (updated ones weren't implemented yet)
2) Acey's Banshee (updated one wasn't implemented yet)

Also, criticisms & suggestions are OK for the following (no bug reports, please):

1) Laspacho's Metalman (all bugs in the current built has been dealt; older version implemented in the game)
2) Symbiote Onslaught (all bugs in the current built has been dealt; older version implemented in the game)

With that said, on with the reports  ;D

Are you sure about the Toolbar?I have it installed and i got nothing like that at all...i was able to download the game and it`s very good...excellent job
I would provide feedback on some characters,but seeing that some of them weren`t the latest versions,i don`t know if it would count...
Anyway,here i go:
*Metalman:Very good overall,the only gripe is that his Backsteps Saw(B+HK) is spammable and makes an infinite,i was able to own every character in the game (including S.O and Galactus) with him.Also i noticed that when i got him when executing the Dragon Hyper,when pressing QCF+K,the big dragon appeared and shot a flame(with the little one still behind Metalman)
*Banshee still needs work,but as you said Acey,you`re working on him as we "speak"
*Does Captain America has Hyper Stars & Stripes?Because i cannot pull it off...he`s pretty solid in his state.He needs some work on his aerial raves,i couldn`t complete a single string of them while practicing
*Symbiote Onslaught`s head still dissappears during his second form...probably because it`s an out of date version i believe,as Ex said he noticed the problem and fixed it  :-??
Also,i just have an important question:
Will all the characters eventually have the same set of sparks and effects?Because some characters do clash to each other...also the common.snd needs to be modified,specially when landing or being defeated,still hear the Mugen default sounds there...
*Changes have to be made with Trasgo7`s Hydron:He`s the only character in the game that doesn`t play in MVC style(Meaning his hyper are all QCF,QCF+P/K to determine strength,i could remember what was his launcher)

Other than those minor things(that i believe are in everyone`s mind already)this beta 2 is great...i had some sound issues but after playing arround with the plugins,that`s history  :thumbsup:

EDIT:I just noticed something,Omega Red is way too powerful,he practically destroyed Evil Ryu

the only bug so far is when i was ken and i was fighting Shuma Gorath on cutmans stage and he just vanished and never came back lol but over all the ones i found were already stated above......thanks for the release i like this one very much  :)

I've only run into one bug so far, that being Roll attacks before the start of the match if she's computer controlled.

Hmm, posted this before, one important thing was ignored which is just a one second quick fix 8-}

On Top of the World: Look all the way to the left of the ship and you'll see that the stage is off by one or two pixels. This is also one of the stages that I was saying that needs more "life" to it. Maybe some flying ships in the BG?


However these below were just suggestions, no biggie.

Hmm, being the stage pro that I am *lol*. I think a couple of the stages need more life to them. Also, "Brooklyn Bridge" looks out of place with the rest of the stages. Different sprites were used, plus the water doesn't move. :|

Baxter Building: The Helicopter should have some movement because right now it's just static.

Deep Blue: Another stage that needs the life I was talking about. Maybe a layer over the characters with animated ripples to have the feeling that you're underwater. Try the water from the Donkey Kong Country games, there is even bubbles that float up.

I saw Brooklyn Bridge fits better now with the darker theme, it just needs some animated water. :P

As for characters...

My main, Megaman has some problems...
His v, <, PP hyper still has the old hyper bg.
v, >, PP hyper still has the issue where it fills up the hyper bars to level 3 on the last hit.
His dash wind thing sprites arent the MvC2 ones that everyone else uses (same with a few other characters).

Other characters...
I don't know if it's just me, but Hydron, Thing, & Hulk seem to be overpowered.
Dr. Doom is a spammer (A.I.)

I dont know if its been said but besides omega red Hydron also plays like if he was a Boss, cheap as they come. maybe Ill find something else...

Did this happen alot ? I fought Captain America a few times & never seen him do this . What move did you/he do to make that happen ?

Only bug i noticed, when juggernaut perform his second hyper too close from his foe, it doesn't connect and freeze him...

I ran of couples of test he does not do it alot it happen twice when I was metalman and Captain America.

Beast's QCF+PP Hyper can't connect to Hydron if he's standing still.  :(

finally got to play it because I didn't DL last time. Metalman rocks.  :w00t:
his ducking FP and back+FK can be potential infinites if times right. the button layout for everone seems a little strange to me, but it's more accurate to the arcades. more later, great job guys.  :thumbsup:

EDIT: while playing as evil ryu, his AI took over.  :(

-not a bug, but isn't it a little funny to have war machine as playable (on a team with iron man, nonetheless) and to also have him hop out as a striker for iron man, in DIFFERENT armor?

-green goblin can attack before the match starts, and he uses that to his advantage.

-green goblin's hyper where he charges you with the glider never works. he'll catch you with the initial hit once, then disappear off the screen somewhere.

-not a bug so much as a balance issue, symbiote onslaught has INSANE defense. I don't remember it being so high. I know you guys are trying ot make him tough (and he is. it's perfect) but having physical attacks dealing almost no damage is a tad much methinks.

-protoman seems to have a lot of trouble chaining. also, his infinity hyper crashes the game alot.

-Vyn's Hayato is fantastic.

-blanka has a hyper that never seems to hit. for the life of me I can't figure out what it's supposed to do.

-Ryu and Guile's levels are offset on the very top. if you do a super jump you can see a black bar across the very top of the stage.

Iceman can perform his laucher in the air
If you hit the foe with Venom Web in the air it doesn`t connect completely
Shuma Gorath`s Clone Call doesn`t work
Megamans Rush Armor Hyper doesn`t connect completely against Sabertooth
Firebrands Magic Darkfire is an infinitely attack
If you hit Servbot after he transformed into King Kobun the hyper background turns black
The Code T-002 hyper is unblockable (don`t know if its supposed to be unblockable)

When you do the whilp attack with omega red (down downforward forward + punch) Omega red CAN´T DO MORE DAMAGE WITH ANOTHER BASIC, SPECIAL OR HYPER ATTACK \-/o \-/o >o:-( >o:-( :-w :-w :D :D :D >:D >:D XD|| XD||

Ok, here goes: on the vs mode, I was playing with my friend, Warmachine vs Dr Willy, my friend made a "shoulder cannon" and I was spamming buttons to make a Dr Willy special, when Dr Willy got freezed, nothing could take away that stat so I had to resart the game and loose again willy, that's it, wait 'till i find more.

This isn't so much as a bug, but more of something that's been bothering me that I finally dawned on me. Captian Marvel always seemed really big. I mean, even next to Colossus and Iron man, just big, Hydron too. And then I realized why, for the same reason some of the DCvsMARVEL characters seems so big and why REDHOT upsizes his MVC2 characters.

C. Marvel is a Urien Base from SF3, which is CPS3 game, like Thor is from Alex and a few other DCvsM's. Hydron is Red Earth, also CPS3. CPS3 Characters are bigger than CPS2 characters. Even if you look at Kenji, he seems fine as he is, but he still seems thicker than most other characters. I recommend resizing your CPS3 based characters.

For Example, I took Ryu's SF3 sprites and changed his X and Y values to .9 and he pratically matched Ryu's Alpha/MvC to a T. I tried it out on RyuDG vs Scar's Ryu and sure enough, he looked like he belonged there the whole time. Still had the level of detail, but height and length were matched with size of his MvC counterpart.

Like I said, not a bug, but I think it's at least worth looking into.

I also recommend taking out the "Mutant Hunting" stage. I mean, yeah is Colossus' level from COTA and don't get me wrong, I have it in my build I normally play on, but the whole level drop effect doesn't really work on a full game scope unless the characters fall.

Just one thing with Spidey: When I try to do his aerial combo with lk down, mk down, hk up when it's supposed to lif the rival up it just kicks it's butt, but doesn't continues the combo.. ¿is it me or it's a bug on Spidey?

omega reds hypers only work if you press light and medium punch. pressing mid and strong punch wont do it.
