random select help

Ok I typed the word randomselect in the select.def and I got a random square, but no random select icon. Please help thanks.

that's a problem of your screenpack

the default one with win-mugen

did you modify your system.sff?

if so, open up fighter factory, go to Sprites, open, look for your system.sff and open it
then click on the Maginifier icon (Find sprite) and put 151 in Group and 0 on Image

now you need to replace that sprite with the orginal one

to replace it go to Sprite and click change, save your sff and your done!

Thanks for your help cHoMp. And yes I did modify my sff but even before I did the random select icon didn't show up, and after doing your steps it still will not show up. I'm going to check my system def and fight def to see if that's the problem.

After going back and looking at the system def I noticed the icon sprite no is 180,0 for the big fight screen so I changed mine to that and it worked. I forgot to tell you that I was using big and not the default one. But thanks for you help because I never would had notice that to be able to change it. 

 Slightly   Is there a way to make the random select icon box transparent b/c mine has a gray backgroud?

about the gray background, I'll give it a try tonight and see if i can do it
