Hi Res Stages

This is a pretty stupid question but im very curious, to use hi res stages do i have to download either hi res mugen or mugen plus, or is it just setting mugen to 640x480 at resolution 4?

You have to use one of them. Otherwise it won't do any difference.

u have to use hi-res mugen for stages there are 2 different hires mugens one for stages and one for select get the one for stages and u also have to turn it to 640X480

Mugen plus would be the best idea because it supports hi-res mugen and low-res.

If i remember right Kung fu Man made two programs to enter a line of code for the low-res stages another one for the hi-res ones.

so how do you get the high res and low res stages to work in the same mugen because i honestly dont understand what to do step by step

you download mugen plus from randomselect

your normal stages should work fine

for your hi-res stages u need to add hires = 1 under [StageInfo] on the stage .def file

example:

[StageInfo]
zoffset  = 75
autoturn = 1
resetBG  = 1
hires = 1
