Hey whats up folks me here... :D its been awhile since i released a character and its a new year so i would like to start off with a bang. :O*D

Now introducing my newest Cyclops that is not of the Beta number Series...*cough* :):

 CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY
---------------------

Cyclops (Scott Summers) is a fictional character, a superhero that is the field leader of the X-Men in the Marvel Comics Universe. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-writer Jack Kirby, he first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963) and was originally dubbed Slim Summers. By #3, his name was changed to Scott and Slim was referred as a nickname. A mutant, Cyclops produces powerful "optic blasts" from his eyes, forcing him to wear specialized glasses at all times and a specialized visor in combat. His powers may have led to his inhibited, meticulous character. These same qualities, however, have made him an ideal leader for the X-Men. He is the son of Corsair, the brother of Havok and Vulcan, the father of Cable, Marvel Girl, and X-Man, and the widower of Jean Grey.

The first student recruited by Charles Xavier and one of the original five X-Men, Cyclops has had a large presence in X-Men-related comics since their inception. He has also been featured in almost every adaptation of the team in other media.

In 2006, IGN.com rated Cyclops #1 on their list of Top 25 X-Men from the past forty years.[1]

In practically every incarnation of the character, he has almost always been shown to be not only Charles Xavier's most loyal student, but also the one who most believes in his dream of mutant and human equality. His loyalty to Xavier has cost him dearly from time to time, yet the character remains by Xavier's side. In turn, Xavier is known to view Scott as one of his most (if not the most) prized pupils, and looks upon Scott not as a mentor to mentee, but rather as a father to a son.

Cyclops is based off of his VS Series and Co-op Appearance from the games listed at the top. He has a 6 button layout LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK and is custom made with the Moves from the MUA and XML2 games, meaning he has some stuff that he didn't originaly have in the VS Series that i thought would be a great addition to his gameplay. Speaking of gameplay he is MVC2 Style but has all of the MVC2, MUA and XML2 System works, which includes:

- I organized all of his files (ACT, SFF, AIR, CMD, CNS, DEF and SND)
- Added new Sprites (Effects and Character)
- Tweaked all of his Animations
- Toned Down his Speed
- Fixed CLSN
- More Accurate timing
- Fixed some Win Poses
- Changed his Taunt
- Tweaked Damage for all of his Basic Attacks
- Fixed his Air Combo Abilties
- Tweaked all of his Throws
- Added the Rolling System (CVS Style)
- Added Alpha Counter (SFA Style)
- Added Air Dash (GG Style)
- Added Advance Guard (MVC Style)
- Deleted unnecessary Hyper and Special Moves
- Added Some New Moves
- Tweaked Damage for Hypers/Supers

animation is a killer, new stuff are awesome,  movement and hitting are very good,
in short great gameplay :)

Great update but was the hyper where he can control the optic beam taken out? I liked that move. : / Plus it's from his vs. incarnations.

I dub this the best Cyclops ever.  Seriously, love the improvments you made, and his taunt is indeed funny.  What i think would be cool if he had this big butt Hyper move where he summons a group of X-Men to attack his opponent.  Kinda like what Hydron has where he summons a bunch of monsters in MVC: Eternity of Heroes.

Hot damn Reza, well done. kinda miss the optic flash, but still sweet. One thing, the main difference between the optic blast with a punch versus a kick is the amount of hits and distance right? Like the punch one hits him several and pushes a little but the kick is just a one shot knock to the wall?

Its in my to do list i didn't add it yet because i wanted to get my new stuff in before i code it in. ;D

Thanks man, i didn't add the Optic Flash yet because a friend of mine is making my sprites a specific color for it.
Well you can say that the punch Optic Blast is for easy combos and distance...yes and the kick one is called Optic Slam i made it from the XML2 game for those of you who know what i was going for with that move, in the original game that move is bigger than the regular Optic Blast and sends the opponent flying backward.

I really like this Cyclops, but the only thing that disappoints me is his ai. Is it just me or did the early beta's have better ai.
Anyways we need a Cyclops smiley on the forum,because Cyclops is the most kick butt character ever.

This is something new from the last Cyclops that you had....an better. But there are some things bugging me:

-I know some people like the Rainbow Hyper BG...but its really seizure inducing @_@.(Easy to fix, I know, but...)
- What up with his hypers? None of them connect....with anything. Is that intentional?
- His Air Mega Opyic Blast doesn't lock the opponent, he just kinda slides down off of it.

Will report more as I further test him.

Hey, Reza. Good to see that the ideas I gave you for Cykes came out so well...maybe you should try the same with others VS series chars that came out in the XM:L and MUA games Like Gambit or even Storm maybe even Iceman (Marvel didn't do him any justice and though Splode game him more comboability and ONE new hyper move, there is a LOT of potential in him to be better if based off of his XM:L and MUA incarnations...what do you think? It might even be nice to see a Spidey based off of his MUA appearance, though Seth's Spidey 2.0 is by far one of the BEST versions of him available for Mugen to date...I'm speaking of the one that is supposed to be part of the DCvM project/full game...It would also be nice if someone did something NEW with one of my greatest comic heroes, Captain America (he's tied for second with Hawkeye and Gambit with good ol' Spidey in the lead as my greatest comic/superhero).

ok, i like the new select portrait :), maybe the ai should be a lttle stronger :-w( but the older ones didn t have a good ai too, i m not talking about your older ones), an intro with a jet? ~X(? THAT s strange, but the new sprites with jean grey are really great, so yes it s the best cyclps out there XD||
