I need your honest opinion...

I'm having trouble designing the main character for this anime show I'm trying to make, I was hoping you guys could help me, I drew him on paint just so you get the idea, but now that i look at him, he's too simple, somtimes simple is better, I mean, it would be easier to draw and would look clean in the fight scenes, but it's just not working for me anymore, I want him to be crazy, like "Holy Order Sol" the dude in my avatar... so if you have any ideas, suggestions, plz help!

I wan't my style to be like the artwork for the game Street Fighter III Tird Strike, and wan't to add details like Holy Oder Sol, yet keep it somple like Naruto...

First off, I think they look too much like Naruto characters. Another thing, if you want your artwork this style....

....Then I suggest that you  upgrade from MS Paint to like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. Seriously there is potential here, but you wont get ANYWHERE if you continue to use MS Paint. I know you drew him in Paint so we just get the idea, but to get my real honest opinion, I need to see how he will look in like Fotoshop or whatev. TO make him look cool, add a weird looking sword, and a crapton of belts. Try some odd symbols, and lean away from scars.

Naw little dude, see you aint geting it... I drew it in like 5minutes just to show you the concept of him, the drawing is hella gay, i'll addmit that! I can draw way better than that!
