Help with character introduction.

I'm really stuck! Can someone help me program a character introduction for MUGEN? I don't know how to get it to work, and also, I want to add a sound for it as well.

we need more information to help you. Such as what part are you stuck on? Making an intro is exactly like making a punch:

use a stateno, set the animation, assertspecial "intro", and when the animation is over just changestate to 0

Ok, the spriting part I got. It's just the coding part I need help on. I have a statenum., and edited the coding, but it didn't seem to work.........

Ok, there is the crappy code. It'll probably need lots of editing........ *note: intro uses two sprites, both used twice.

to make the sound use a playsnd

you need to add a changestate at the end of the code

and you may need to add a assertspecial    flag = intro
