getting new computer

Hey I`m getting a new comp soon and I was gonna get a data transfer from Best Buy and was wondering if Mugen would be transfered over or will I have to start my collection over again? Thanks for any help you can give me

well i started mine from scratch when i got a new pc
was kinda fun and now the new pc has more chars than the old thanks the all the databases around which i didnt know of before a few months back so i made up my collection much faster

I agree on this. Mugen itself will usually fit on one of these. If your character or stages folder is quite large, you may need to do them in installments.

Whenever anything is happening to your computer, it's best to back everything important up first. Just is case. The data transfer should work fine but just in case...

I have moved my mugen several times with no problem.  You don't have a dvd burner?

A few DVD´s if you collection is too large should solve the problem...or at least back up the rare stuff which is offline that you might have,so if you need to make a fresh start,you´ll not regret not backing stuff up...

also... why not save your old hard drive (thats what I'd do  ) but I still back everything up to DVD (I'm not that trusting of BB)
