Adding a seperate element to Running Animation

I'm currently tweaking my char, trying to add explosions, hit sparks etc. At the moment I'm trying to work out how to add a custom made dust cloud I've animated, to trail behind my char when he runs. What would be required to be written in the CNS and CMD files to accomplish this?

Here are the animations in question so you can get an idea with what I want to accomplish.

you can add an explod on the statedef 100 (you need to add the common1 to your char), or you can cod it on the statedef -3, if you code it on the statedef -3, the trigger of the explod has to be = stateno = 100
