Question for members who lives in New York
« on: November 12, 2007, 08:26:22 PM »
I have heard that there are some stores on New York where you can find these "pseudo-hard-to-find" Japanese games. @-)

I also remember that I talked about that with an old member called Demonkai (Maybe someone around here still remember him... 8=|) but I don't remember the names of the stores or any other clues & directions about them so...
I was wondering if anyone who lives on NYC could help me out here by giving me some directions of these stores.

A friend of mine is going to visit NYC to see his father and this could be the last time I try to get Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 4 & Battle Stadium D.O.N. along with a Freeloader for the Gamecube. :|

Thanks for wasting your time reading my little story... ^:)^
And any info about it will be of a great help. :O*D

Well don't know much about that but I do know that theres a store in Fordham RD. called Game World and they sell some rare imports  sometimes :-?? Also, theres this store that supposedly has every game system ever made (and game I think ??? ) downtown, but I have no clue where its at. If I find any info I'll let you know

You can try going to chinatown which is in manhattan.Trust me you'll know its chinatown once you see nothing but chinese people,no other race  :D. Im serious though. Its an area thats basically a couple minutes away from the manhattan bridge.I dont go to chinatown often but Im pretty sure they sell video games over there and nothing is english over there,so you should be able to find the game you looking for

Go to Canal St. and the surrounding areas.  You're bound to find something there.  Its in Chinatown.

most anime stores sell import games, though anime stores are kind of hard to find across the nation.  :(|)
I almost caved in and bought Narutimate Hero 3 and some Hudson fighting game with bomberman and the hudson baseball kid for PS2. Apparentl you only need a gameshark to make it work.

I know that Ebay could be the best solution for my little dilemma. 8=|

But I don't have a credit card and my mom doesn't like to buy stuff online because a friend of her got a big credit doubt after making an online purchase and the original price was around $18 or $19 and she had to pay more than $500!!! :o

I wonder how on earth happened  that? @-)

The credit card was probably maxed out. The same thing happened to me when I got my Michael Myers jumpsuit.
