My select screen won't show up after arcade matches!!!

Hello everyone the best way i can say this is on my Hi-res mugen After a VS or arcade matches if i don't press the Esc key when i want to contiue my select screen won't show the music will play and i can hear the select tone (when you switch chars) but no select screen will show can some body tell me how to fix that

Ive used the heavenorhell screenpack and the mugenwars screen pack and the same thing happens

try puting a stage to every char, if you dont want a specific stage put  random

I have put all my stages to a char but are you saying that the chars that i don't have a stage for put random next to there name?

exactly, the reason its that when you are on arcade and you loose the system tries to check the stage and the char that you were facing, and if you dont have a stage then the system doesn't load

I think that the select screen being all black is a glitch in the hi-res version of winmugen because that happens to mine as well. The select screen is still there but you just can't see it and you'll still be able to continue arcade.

If you want to add random after the characters name put a comma next to it then space and type random.
