Bass RMM (Done)

One of the most asked characters is back to RMM: Bass
And he is being coded by yours truly ;) - I wasn't going to code him originally, but now he is on my hands.

I've worked all night long and all his basics are converted to the RMM 3.0 template, from the original EOH (so a LOT of work had to be done), including all the supers and hypers.



This hyper move, Bass Rush, were converted to a LVL 3 hyper and I will make another to replace the original spot.


What he misses:
- Dodge and Slide.
- Power Sets.
- Few minor touches here and there.

I expect to finish this character until the weekend, so wish me luck :)

You got stuff for power sets? I can't even think of stuff for him.

I've made the additional required Rmm sprites for Bass.
I also came up with some power set ideas and some sprites to use.  O Ilu also has some ideas.  :)

I think for his weapons he should go with the more aggressive ones.

Bass is done and ready for testing (team only).
By the way, Psykai accepted to voice Bass, so if anyone want to suggest any lines for him, feel free to post.

I'm digging Bass.  Here's some minor stuff I noticed.
D, F, PK:  Bass Rush (Lv3) -  This can be used without any hyper bars filled.
D, F, KK:  Gospel Boost (Lv1) - Is the timer for this hyper long enough?  The AI doesn't usually attack at all.
Do you want the AI for Bass to switch between power sets?  (Same with Pharaoh, Shadow, and Megaman)

Thanks for the report. I haven't touched his AI and maybe I won't touch it. Or I will ending making a too though one lol.

No, I usually don't make them to change weapons while controlled by the CPU. It's adds an extra layer of complexity

The most requested character had joined the official Mega Man Robot Masterm Mayhem project: Bass.



Initially, I wasn't going to code this character, but the previous coder had not time and Laspacho gave it to me and here it is :) I've working on him a lot and here are his 6 power sets - I tried to make something unique for him.

He is pretty much finished - I am just waiting the voice actor to record the new voices, so I can make a full video showing all his powers.

I've enjoyed a lot working on all those Robot Master Mayhem characters - IMT has a great team, like a real family :)

December 2019 will be a blast!

Here is a Bass preview, finally. First I show all his hyper moves, then an AI battle. Bass doesn't have a vicious AI like some other characters *cough* Shadow Man *cough*.

Also, now he has brand new custom voices, done by my friend Psykai.

Bass will be available on the next RMM release, in december 2019

Ooh, I'm really loving how you handled Bass here.

All the new hyper combos are really impressive, and I appreciate the updated voice pack. Can't wait to see more of him in action

I know you are following the game at FB, but I hope you don't mine the updates I did in Mega Man.

Question: is Bass voice too deep (low toned)? Originally it wasn't that deep - I've lowered it 2 tones.
Should I use the nornal one?

I think the delivery is perfect, but I do think it could be a bit less deep

MVC gameplay is my favorite, the other versions of Bass always crash my Mugen (at least with me).
Just watch this video I'm already looking forward to this release, you did a good job as always Ilusionista my friend.  :thumbsup:
