This is not a removal method, but it's important to understand why some AI's are worse or more spammy than others. A good AI should not be predictable. It should not overuse the most awesome thing in the characters arsenal and should attempt more than one or two combos. Dragonclaws AI for example is pretty terrible (character awesome, AI junk)

The primary reason for ANY AI being bad is that the person making it has not judged random correctly.

Random takes values from 0-999. Random is recalculated EVERY time you call it

trigger1 = random < 200
trigger2 = random = [200,400]
trigger3 = random  > 400

All 3 of those could fail on a single tick as random will be looked at individually for each trigger. You may read it as if that means "trigger every tick" but it won't. It could pull 800 for the first, 100 for the second and 2 for the 3rd. If anyone is unsure about that, place the following in state -2

[state -2]
type = displaytoclipboard
trigger1 = 1
params = random, random, random
text = "%d %d %d"

and watch how all 3 values are totally different

If random is HIGHER than 100 as a trigger, moves will occur very very often, this cuts down on holes, and chances for the AI to block as well as it attacking too much. To explain this with terrible probability math.

Random < 500. That is a 50% chance on a single tick. It is however BASICALLY a 100% chance over 2 ticks. So that move will be done every 2 ticks most likely.

On random < 100, that's once every 10 ticks, bit more reasonable, you really want to drop below random < 100 to get truly random AI which changes what it does and reduces the spam.

So if you enter the .cmd and look through the AI code and see LOTS of randoms with wide ranges of occurence, the AI is most likely spammy and not very "intelligent" but rather it will spam you with some of the tougher moves and whore out the super which is listed first.

Depends how the AI was done. With 1.0 being out there are 3-4 ways of implementing AI now over everything you might have in game.

If the person who coded it did so without an "activation" requirement but simply put AIlevel onto a load of changestates, you have a lot of nulling ahead of you. If they activate a variable with AI level, you have less. If they did it via the helper method, that's difficult to remove, and as apparently what acey posted didn't work, probably not impossible commands either.
