Damn Looks like wwe has won once again b/c tna has been canned   

Spike TV will not renew its long-running carriage deal with TNA Wrestling, sources close to the companies said, confirming a TMZ report.

 

TNA, which has aired its Impact Wrestling series exclusively on Spike for the past nine years, is actively talking to other as yet defined distributors about carrying the series, according to sources. Impact Wrestling, a competitor to the various WWE wrestling shows on several networks, has pinned down strong ratings for Spike, averaging more than 1.2 million viewers in the past month alone. TNA officials did not comment on the situation.

Spike, which has carried TNA’s weekly series Impact Wrestling series since 2005, will go in a different direction on Thursday nights. Spike officials would not comment on the matter.

Hmmmmm....not a HUGE fan of TNA, though I do like it for all of my fave WWE stars that have moved on (read: got hired somewhere else after getting fired from of quitting the WWE) so this is a bummer for me. Now that I think about it, and I may be wrong, but are Spike and G4 sister networks or stations or something? Cause this move seems awfully familiar to what G4 did when it cancelled both X-Play and AotS...claiming to be 'going in a different direction...' and whatnot. Whatever. I'm sure they'll get picked up somewhere else quite quickly.Maybe TNT or MTV or VS...I dunno.

Oh well. I would love to see how beer money would react to the WWE superstars. And could the Dudley's return be worth wild? Once more could the Hardy's pass the drug test?!
