Why do I gain power for getting hits?

My character instead of using power bar for hypers it fills up slowly overtime and he uses that to attack to prevent him from spamming his normally spammable moves. But when I use his torpedo attack, I have no settings for this and double checked all CNS files, when they hit he actually GAINS power!? I commented out givepower and getpower and stuff but still does it!!! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS???

There is also a "poweradd" setting under the [Statedef number] bit.

You may also want to add

ignorehitpause = 1

to the slow fill.

That's not the WHOLE state. In addition, your power has changed from -350 to -120.

Show me the WHOLE state. That's everything between the first [Statedef] bit and the [Statedef] bit for the next attack.
