Wow, that.... That so totally happened....

Brian was probably the best thing about Family Guy, what does McFarlane have up his sleeve that he thought it would be a good idea to kill him off?

well since the family suffer a grave lost they did what any family did they bought a new dog name Vinny

Feeling guilty that he was unable to save Brian since destroying his time machine, Stewie at first refuses to accept the new dog until he discovers that Vinny had just lost his previous owner around the same time and thought he and the Griffins needed each other and comes to accept Vinny.
so hes gonna help him and the griffins get few this together as the new family dog

vinny played by Tony Sirico.

OK i will not front ...last night episode.. i shed a few tears. yes i said it/ lando had a tear moment .  :'(
I did not see that coming and thought oh he just gonna find a way to make the time machine again....but....he couldnt.  i was like OMFG  :o this really gonna happen? then he said his goodbye while he took his last breathe...i was still thinkin, ok somethin gonna happen and he gonna come back....then the funeral...i was still like ohhhkayyyyyyy? tears started to form. it wasnt till it had been several month and then the new dog came into play. Once i saw how Vinny was...i knew Brian Griffin was over for the show.  I had to take a pause moment at that.  he been a fixture since 1999...so as a dogs life and brian was supposed to be old . i guess they found this was the way to do it so stewie couldnt bring him back.
Now Vinny..is nothing like Brian but he is a very more level headed dog. I have to wait to see the next episode to see just how well Vinny gonna be and fit more in with the family. The touching part of the show for me was when him and Stewie had that talk outside. Then slept in the room with Stewie.

Goodbye  and RIP Brian Griffin.

same here Yun. i have seen tons of brian over the years since it aired and for me being a fan of the show it was very sad, even tho brian is a total jerk lol, he has some effect on the family. So now they have a new dog and done moved on i want to really see what does Vinny actually bring with him. Like what are his vices? everyone in that family ( and the friends and neighbors for that matter ) has issues. So there must be some thing odd about him. But then again he could be that funny character that doesnt have the "i am a jerk" type of persona.  I can tell he has a quick smart mouth and back talk thats for sure but he does it in a way thats aight and of course the italian mobster voice helps it even better. Anyone that can console Stewie with simple understanding and heart felt emotion without being a tool, gets my vote to see what is more interesting about them. So Vinny show me what ya about.

If you ask me I think the story with the new dog will run it's course.  Eventually Stewie will get the part he needs to rebuild his time machine and then go back and save Brian.

lol i have seen rants all over the net as to who killed Brian. i find this hilarious as Quagmire is the suspect at hand but no one really seriously looked at the car that did it. Its Brian's own type of car he drives! Remember they have many episodes where they have altered the past somehow and since that last return before destroying the time machine with no way to fix it to bring him back may play a huge part in all this.  So tonights episode if its new then i think might shed some light on both what happened as well as more of Vinny backstory.

Can't stop the Train, it gonna keep chugging along.

I found it odd that they killed Brian before the Family Guy x The Simpsons crossover episode. Can't help but wonder how that's going to effect the permanence of Brian's untimely demise.
