Dudes, I am excited for this film! Not sure on how they made the futuristic mutants look (Bishop, Blink, etc.)
Glad they gave Blink her pink-ish hair and all, but it looks more like she's just wearing make up, like it's not part of her. Oh well. I have a feeling those mutants will get little screen time, though I could be wrong.

@Arch, I could be wrong, but aren't the scenes with him with his claws out during the 70's? The bone claws aren't till modern day. Or are you referring to the poster. That poster is fan made, NOT official. I think that poster came out before the Wolverine movie this year.

not sure about the poster, but i'm refering to where he slices one of the dudes in the trailer,
its a flash, but its there, which means this scenes are set post wolverine origins (not 70s)
 I can only speculate that blink is the teleporter sending him through time or bishop (new movie powers = time travel) originally it was an older forge that created a time machine for bishop to hop back in time, they might just have skipped all that and made bishop own that power, (whos hands are light up around wolvies head?

since the comicbook that this is worked of had kitty originally sent back, maybe there's more than just wolvie going back into the past, I would think that you wouldn't rest all your hopes on just wolvie if you had a whole team and a mutant who could teleport you into the past

the only downfall with this movie that I could see is making wolverine the centre of attraction, like how they ruined the other movies, only first class did somewhat of a shared character limelight, not overly focusing totally on magneto, or prof x, but everyone
the first three x-men movies are more like wolverine & the X-men 1,2 & 3

From what I've heard (but research this yourself and don't take it for gospel truth of course. ) Kitty Pryde is the one who sends Wolvie back in time? And there's no "physical" time traveling, only Wolverine's mind is sent back in time. What I'm interested in is where on earth are they when they perform the time travel!? It looks like some kind of temple or something... Possible link to Apocalypse for future films???

I half agree with you Arch, I used to get really annoyed when Wolverine got most of the spotlight. While his story arch was a large part of X2, I felt a decent amount of the cast got attention. First class of course broke that bad habit thankfully.
My bet at this point is the characters getting the most attention will be Wolverine, Magneto, Xavier, Mystique and Beast. In that order actually too. All the others will probably be there to help carry along the story. I hope I'm proven wrong and it's a lengthy film that covers a good deal of the characters, but I can't see them trying to develop the future X-men if their reality isn't going to exist in the end of the film.

What I'm really looking forward to is seeing how the film's going to end. How will the changes made in the past impact the current (albeit broken ) continuity? I'm excited to see if there will be any major changes... like say bring Cyclops back? For a while now I always thought they could use this movie as a catapult to start a reboot of the X-men series, start with a clean slate. Though I doubt that will happen.

And where the heck is Jubilee!!?!? I want her to be a main character in a movie for once. I'm like 90% sure she's not even gonna be in this one.

jubilee is overated to me, she was a major presence in the TAS series of the 90s, comicbook wise not such an major character in comparison to rest of the x-men characters, besides she has been cameos in x-men 1 and was one of the captured few in X2

I agree with you on spotlight sharing is very necessary with super hero team movies, wolvies had his day, time to let bishop take over this time travelling movie hahahahahahaha sooooo not gonna happen
no Cyclops in this one, as the 70s still means he isn't alive as of yet, BUT changing the future outcome means that he will be back, my theory is the movie doesn't have the happy ending of fixing the future for the better, and will just end up exactly like the ending of Watxm Anime season ender
(sentinel/mastermold future averted, but AoA future takes its place) which will see Cyclops return as a bad guy along with archangel, sunfire, polaris, & sinister for horsemen (I can only wish)
and of course "main antagonist" apocalypse,
this will be another way to use the same actors of the past films (just like this one) but see them  as alternate versions of themselves,
hopefully less wolverine, prof x dead ,and magneto leading the charge towards ending apoc's reign
(and since fox is still making x-men movies, they will replace the most significant character of that AWESOME saga " a lunatic bishop" with "a lunatic wolverine" just to bring in the big bucks)

my dream is to see a xmen movie/series or anime made from the Age of Apocalypse Saga (using all 40 books for content, not just the main four issues, or the boring 10th anniversary)silver samurai and psylocke did kick @ss  though

I can see this leading to an AoA movie. There's actually rumors of an X-Force movie following after this movie. You know the ending is going to turn out ok, but hopefully not too happy. I'd love to see them bring back Cyclops and Jean and have Bryan Singer attempt to do the Phoenix Saga right. But that probably won't happen unless they reboot the franchise. After seeing the last Wolverine movie, I actually miss Jean. It's been a long enough time since X3 for me to heal.

They will always replace someone with Wolverine, cause he's what brings in the big bucks, which is a smart move on Fox's part. From a fan's perspective, sure, it seems greedy, but they are a business first and foremost and need to make money. Though look at Mystique. I would have never guess she'd become so prominent in the series. So you never know.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this film. It seems like the perfect sequel to First Class and the timing to do this storyline is just right.

hmm i want to see this flick myself as well. I will wait to see what other trailers come about tho. i like they got some cool characters in this, storyline...ehhh shall see how it plays out. But lando wants other characters to be more prevalent in this X movie.  i def like wolverine and a fan too but i am getting to that point that no matter how much a cash cow he might be in the movies for them to rake in... there are other characters to the comics and Xmen that could use more light too.  that is why i was glad x men first class wolverine was not a figurehead of the story and just a cameo. other than that movie.. he been like the main dude in all of them ( of course his own ) to the point.. lando is almost wolverine'd out. 
I see nothing wrong bringing some others to the forefront...yeah like jubilee, archangel and others. its X- Men for lawd sakes!

Oh and lando would go outside and jump on my car and shout to the heaves YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS if and when an X-Force movie really gets made. I been waiting for a very very very long time for a one and to be good too i hope. Bout time!

The only thing I have to say about these movies not being made by Marvel Studios, is don't go see them! As long as they still make money the outsourced studios will continue to make pale imitations to what these franchises could/should be.

If you need to be the first one to see this I feel sorry for you, patience really is a virtue in life. Just wait for it to come out on the internet, at least that way you can see it soon enough and the studio doesn't make money.

In my opinion this trailer doesn't show enough of what will go on, for all we know, with the time travel theme, and the ruins so predominantly shown in the future scenes they could string us along with an Apocalypse tease. 20 Century Fox really has no idea what is best for this property, if you listen to the commentary to the previous films you will understand what I'm saying. Major point, in X3 Lauren Schuler Donner said it would take too much to incorporate a character like Quicksilver into the movies. Here we are with that character being one of the hype points of this movie, along with SO many other characters they definitely won't have enough screen time for. We are just so far past the notion, "it is just good to see them on the big screen!" How many of you can go from watching IM, Thor or, The Avengers and go back to the first X-Men movie and say that it is a good movie that holds up over time?

I guess I could go on and on trying to point out the flaws and unfortunate points that go along with not only this but all outsourced comic movies but, this has gotten long enough. Even though the studios have contractorally all the power we are the ones who actually allow these greedy people who don't understand these properties making these movies.

They maybe pale imitations, but as lng as marvel is actually concentrating on making avengers and other newbie movie franchises, let fix and however make whatever now, later on when fox runs out of ideas, Marvel with get it back, and do it properly, and then x-men will be bigger than avengers is now

wolverine should be stocky and not the lead character of xmen, he is the equivalent of the thing is to fantastic four, not read Richards, marvel know this, and as soon as the rights come back to marvel Cyclops will be the proper leader again, and hopefully angel iceman and beast with be the founding members just like the comics, all the fans want is truth to the storylines, not something made up to make the cash cow in your face and the hero of the day every movie they make, fox cannot even make a deadpool movie without roping "xforce and wolvie" into it here come wolverine origins again 

just be patient, watch marvels movies, and when the rights revert then there won't be any more rubbish, infact it'll be worth it to compare too

I just hope Colossus & Kitty get more screen time than they got in the previous X-films. I mean this movie is titled Days Of Future Past inwhich Shadowcat & Colossus had very large roles (if not, the top roles) in the comic. In this movies future segments, Piotr & Kitty should get top billing next to Mags, Wolvie & Xavier.

I have a feeling Kitty and Iceman will be a couple. Not sure where Rogue will fit in. I also wonder where Kitty will fit into the story. I've heard her powers will somehow play into Wolverine going back in time.
Would be fun to see both Wolverine AND Kitty went back in time. I think the two actors playing those characters would have had cool chemistry.

depending on their Hollywood stature the chars will match their importance in the film.

I heard they were gonna use this one to 'remove' X-Men 3, maybe it will pick up where Jean sacrifices her self and maybe thats the moment that changed everything.

Remember Hollywood is based on books, not necessarily accurate, so fanboys stay away! you cant put dozens of issues & chars into 3 hours.

Either way my fave mutant (Bishop) will be in it!

The director said he would right some wrongs from X3, but I doubt they're going to completely remove X3, but I agree it would be awesome if this movie would retcon X3.

I hope Bishop is portrayed well. Depends on what the actor is given and how much Bishop is used in the story. Don't know much about the actor, so I can't say much about that.

An interesting note, I've read this movie has the second highest budget ever!? Next to Avatar. Though I wonder how much is for SFX and how much was to pay the enormous cast.
