I dont know about anybody else but this movie looks like crap?

The only thing that would bring me back in love with Superman is a movie with either Brainiac or Doomsday.

Tired of the same old bs storylines, change it up..

Superman has plenty of villains to choose from, they could have used one that would tie the Batman and Superman movies together but noooooooooo.

Just from this trailer I can tell I probably wont like this movie as much as I could have.

I don't mind Zod (my favorite superman villain) but I think he's a sequel villain.

In my mind this movie should have been based around brainiac (superman brainiac story), then it would naturally lead into Zod (last son), and the third film could be the death and return story.

But hey that's just me.

hmmm from the trailer it looks pretty fkin Hot! But trailers can sometimes be deceiving. but from what i just saw...looks better than all the other superman movies ( especially action wise)  that i have seen since the first movie ever made debut.  The best superman movie was always  superman 2 of course.  So this has to beat that one to replace it. We have had of Batmans , so it will be refreshing to see Superman finally ( hopefuly finally) get a good movie done to show him off like never before.

Even tho i am not Superman's biggest fan, i do and have wanted a amazing Superman movie to be made that pulls me in action wise as well of course and show the true raw super man he is.

yeah me too. This i think should be pretty good and i am aight with them restarting it off with Zod and gang. I want to see superman fight people that can go at it with him. I  have grown tired over the years of him fighting Lex Luthor. Ok not fight with fists but mind game battles. . This better be the movie that sets it off and raises the superman bar for better sequels.

I don't find Zod to be redundant at all. He was in ONE film and that was a long time ago. Mainstream audiences don't remember him anymore. At least he's as powerful as Superman so they can fight. Just be glad it's not Lex Luthor!

My only concerns are that they may not have a good balance between action and character development and also there's rumors that Krypton won't be destroyed in the film. I feel 80% sure it will. In the trailers there is a shot of what looks like Krypton blowing up, but the question is how and when in the film???
Also, I really hope this film doesn't get too dark and brooding like Batman, but leaves me with optimism and hope.

In a nutshell, I'm feeling confident this will be a good film, but I can see why some Superman fans may not like it. But I feel like this one will be a good one!

yup. the trailer alone is better than all the superman flicks. I went and saw every last one that ever came out in the movies first. yeah dang that was long ago . . I am sure Krypton will blow up...its part of his first history of even being here unless there is a Krypton 2 planet. .  Bringing Zod back is a good thing in every sense. he was from movie standpoint, the first character he fought on par with himself. Please dont ever include Nuclear Man...ever.  , he was a boring and mehhhh character in that movie. .

Zod at least brings something dire to the table coming in first. I am expecting of mass destruction in this flick. Thats why i think this will be the movie that sets the tone for any sequels.  the Superman fans can get their Brainiacs, Doomsday , Mongol and Darkseid afterwards. Might even be a cameo at the end to who may be next on the superman hit list. So its all good they bring in a old school movie heavy gun first to take on ole supes then the bigger bad@asses and of course fans of the newer age comic readers can have those beastly guys come in for sequels . gives something more to look forward to IMO.

Definitely. We also have to consider this is a reboot, so they are reintroducing Supes origin as well as reintroducing Zod. So it's not quite like they are bringing back Zod. Besides the last live action Zod was over 20 years ago. I'm ready to see him in a movie again. I do hope though if there is a sequel or Justice League movie that they introduce a villain that hasn't been in live action film yet, like one of the big baddies mentioned already.

Every new trailer I see, the better it looks to me. The action looks so exceptional. I'm actually finally glad Zack Snyder directed this film. He's created a very pleasing aesthetic look to this film.
