That was my thought as well. Considering how popular Vs games are I think they are just trying to find a way to throw the word into their next game without actually having to change the next game already in development.

Aside from the obvious, (such as the very concept of 'KoFvsFF' being kind of stupid, considering that FF characters have been in KOF for years now,) has it bee confirmed that this is an actual fighting-game? Or this is just another slot or pachinko game? (Or some sort cell-phone, social... thing.) If it's a fighting game, cool, but you'd better give us something special in that case, because otherwise, you might as well just slap 'KoF XIV' on the cover, because that would basically be what you'd be making.

as a long time fan of snk fighting games i have to say this is the stupidest idea someone ever made .  KOF is basically  yep FF and its own fused into one franchise. Plus others from any fighting game they have produced could be in KOF.
 If its a cell phone app game then i would just say call it a new KOF and add in some fresh new faces of people that never been in KOF before from their large roster of characters in the SNK stock,  rather than just give me a dumb name and its really still a KOF game .  i swear some of these older companies are losing it sometimes. SNK!

true lolo, but its weird cause FF ties into KOF directly.  so thats not even a crossover.. its like a .. father vs son fight or something. .  but it just dont sound right. they should just make CVS3 and get it over with for the love of Gawd!  now that would be a crossover i been waiting for!
