When society is based on profit no moral standards, no crimes can stop people. "No good deed goes unpunished" is misleading, no one cares about good or bad deeds, it's not the category in which people are thinking, right category is - profitable or not. Dying in poverty, but with pride is not and ideal, it's not even an option. Do dirty tricks, fall as low as you can, but earn cash(in this case - be w#0re, spent all money you have to live cool, then scr9w your benefactor), that's ideal and widely translated one.
I'm kinda very excited about this - will humanity overcome greed and return to being humane or fail at that and degrade to level of sheep with shepherd. While I see more and more people woke up and trying hard at purging all inhumane off them, masses are still under consume mania influence. That's the main problem, main challenge of humanity now and I hope humanity will overcome it(if not I'll prefer to be dead then live in world that loss will bring).
