Kof Data Tutorial odd problems

Hi, these few days I have been working out on the kof data tutorial: http://www.vans.trinitymugen.net/home/tutorials-kof2002data.html, using winkawaks and the art money table made by vans. I have manage to sync the art money with winkawaks emulator but there are a few problems that I encounter. First, when I was finding K' 's normal jump Y vel, I manage to get the value for the first tick which the Vel Y Integer value is 10 and the Vel Y Float Value is 16896 and converting it to decimal value, I get 10.2578125 which is correct as stated in the tutorial:



But for the second and third ticks, I got the different value from the tutorial, the second tick value for the Normal Jump Y vel Integer value is 7 and the vel Y Float Value is 4992:



and converting it to decimal value, it is 7.076171875 which is different from the tutorial. When I calculate the Y accel value, it is 3.181640625 which is wrong as I have checked from Kod's K' his y accel value is the same from the tutorial. I tried several times such as reseting, it still give me the same value over and over again. I am not sure what is wrong.

Next is Iori's velocity's value, I manage to get the correct Y vel Integer values which his first tick for his Normal Jump Y vel Integer value is 8 and the vel Y Float Value is 49152 as well as his second and third ticks, 8 and 12288, 7 and 40960. After converting the first and second ticks to decimal which is 8.75 and 8.1875, I get his Y accel is 0.5625 which is correct.

Later, I try to switch games in my winkawaks emulator from kof2002 to kof95 and to kof96, the value for his Vel Y changes in the first tick which the Y vel Integer value becomes 8 and vel Y Float Value becomes 57344, Second ticks's Y vel Integer value is 6 and vel Y Float Value is 6144 and third ticks's Y vel Integer value is 5 and vel Y Float Value is 34816 which is weird. After I have switched it back to kof2002, the values are still the same i.e 8, 5733, 6, 6144.... I keep on restarting and it still doesn't work. I wonder what is wrong?




I also use the dipswitch function at the same time when I switched to Kof94 to 97, I am not sure if that also affect the table values? But When I switched it off, it is still the same

Because you're doing a short jump. Hold "up" for longer so you get the regular jump.

There is no template. Warusaki3 built on top of a similar character, just like Vans and I do.

I see, now I get it, I didn't realize there are two different jump, thanks for your help, if I still got any doubt, I will post it here again ;)
