yeh that was flavaful. the hit pause on the combos look real good along with EX moves...im curious now how the hands on experience is....

This game have meat on it's bones, gameplay looks intense, meaty I would say. ^-^ =D>

About the logo, take easy with the effects. They are screaming OMFG I HAVE PHOTSHOP! (its a slang among the Art Directors, lol)

Less bevel, less drop shadow, less texture and it will be cool.

Just tried beta. I like everything I see there, no, really. This game is very solid.
Seeing videos I was thinking - why there's separate bar for Ex moves, but when I tried it - Ex-bar fits well in game, it's not OP, it gives you bit of extra oomph when you might need it.
Same goes for 2 additional buttons, they are usable right off the bat. What I mean - you'll need 'em, in some games it feels like "well, when I would be more skilled at this game I'll use those features, but for now I can go without them", catch is - it never happens (most bright example for me is Melty Blood, whenever I tried it - didn't worth it and ultimately those tries led me to my arse being kicked). Here it works, you'll need those Last Blade(one of my fav games BTW) styled deflects and rolls, they worth using and you'll be in trouble if you don't use those.
With this game I had only one issue and it's not game related - for some reason it doesn't save changes in settings, I'm changing button config, saving, closing game, opening game and settings are reset to default, pressing Load doesn't helps.
Also I have one minor suggestion, when health is depleted to where wing ends it kinda feels like you have full bar because there's no indication that it should reach star. Maybe make transparent bar over wings or just shorter bar. It's not something major, but kinda bothers me.

P.S. I see it's closed project, i.e. you can't take anything from it to use outside of game and when it'll be done I'll have strong urge to play it with netplay on ikemen, which'll be impossible... Maybe you can game on ikemen instead? If no, then no, but if it's possible - it worth it, it's netplay, most wanted mugen feature ever.

I did not know this Ikemen until now, from the beginning I thought the possibility for this game in online mode, if I can do it in the future is certain that I will, because the intention was always to focus on the VS mode.

I honestly must say this game is well done so far. The hit pauses and combos are on point. THATS MY MAIN THING I PICK UP ON. i almost had to question if this was really a mugen game..seriously lol. i gotta give props when its do and usually i dont say much at all or anything if the game is just ok. There was a slight doubt it either wasnt gonna play well but just look good. BUT I WAS WRONG lol....its on point!

Ya nailed it so far and the great thing is the engine doesnt slow up AT ALL...its pretty damn fast and i like how when you combo from a super the pause trigger slows the enemy up a bit for a chance at a good and decent connected hit.

Good luck with the rest of the work man. Take your time!
