This is a great character and a lot of fun to play. I still remember the original game and you did very well in the manner that you implemented his various specials and hypers. The playstyle was also unique and was enjoyable. I noticed that in the readme you stated that you don't normally like retro characters, but I could see a lot of these characters becoming very popular if given this level of attention.
