Screen problem

I'm having problems with certain screenpacks.
Specifically, Mugen Fighting Jam by Jesuszilla, and Marvel vs DC vs SNK vs Capcom by durcelleur.
I have Mugen 1.0.
The problem I'm having is that the bottom of the screen has been cut off.
I cannot see the bottom power bars.
I'm sure it's an easy fix but I just can't figure it out.
I have changed the video resolution to 640x480 (the resolution of both screenpacks), and changed the setting to fullscreen in the mugen.cfg file, so I don't think that either one of those is the problem.
Any suggestions?

1st question, are you using Winmugen screen packs with Mugen 1.0?

Nope, the sources that I got them from both say that they've been made or converted for Mugen 1.0

Are the power bars the default mugen bars or character specific bars?

Default I suppose, they are the lifebars that are included in the screen packs.
A little more information, I'm currently using Enemies of Fear screen pack and the bars appear just fine,
but when I which screen packs this problem occurs.
FYI - I have double checked the Mugen.cfg file for errors, but didn't come across any.

So durcelleur's screen pack doens't have power bars at the bottom of the screen i nthe first place, don't know about Enemies of Fear screen pack. They sound broken to me. Advice = don't use broken screen packs.

I'm using MarvelvsDCvsSNKvsCapcom 1.0 version and it's just fine.

Um...yeah they are definitely not broken.  They are there because I can use the same lifebars from those sceenpacks and add them to others, and they appear just fine.  The screen itself (the camera if you will) is displaying the action about 1/2 inch of where it should be.  Another example to help clear up the confusion.  The very last row in the select screen is also cut off, and the options and watch selections in the title screens.
I know there is an easy way to fix this, just can't figure it out.

Oh, see there is some more information there too, you're trying to add lifebars rather than using the default ones, right? Go and edit the fight.def file rather than the mugen.cfg file.
